1984 graduated from Zhengzhou University majoring in archaeology and was assigned to teach at Henan University. In 2004, he studied under Mr. Zhu for a postgraduate degree in pre-Qin history and obtained a doctorate. He is currently a professor at the School of History and Culture of Henan University, a tutor for master students, and a part-time researcher at the Yellow River Civilization and Sustainable Development Research Center.
