The other mountain always looks taller-the grass on the other side of the fence is always greener.

"This mountain looks at that mountain" has always been used as a metaphor for the attitude towards life and has been blacklisted in idioms for decades. However, if many artificially added meanings are abandoned, doesn't the behavior of "looking at another mountain from one mountain" reflect a positive attitude towards life that is uneasy about the existing position of life?

"This mountain looks higher than that" comes from the yearning for perfection and the pursuit of beautiful things. We are familiar with an Olympic slogan: higher, faster and stronger. It is precisely because of this mentality of constantly surpassing and never stopping pursuing that countless athletes have paid their youth, sweat and even their lives for it, challenging the limits of mankind again and again. Just think, if they don't ask for higher status, stand still and be arrogant after a small win, how many lofty struggles and great successes will be lost in sports history!

No matter who you are, when you see that others are more dominant than yourself, you will inevitably feel pain and anxiety. If you want to surpass others to get a better position, you have to pay the price. The rise of pain has an irresistible force, which is maturity in baptism, outbreak after silence and rebirth under attack. In the vast sea of people, being able to have a position can bring security. But this kind of comfort often limits people's vision and binds people's consciousness. If people settle in a position, their hearts will grow old. If you want to achieve great success. We must pursue higher positions. Have the ambition of "this mountain looks at that mountain"!

Madame Curie became famous after winning the Nobel Prize for the first time, and many people advised him to "have a rest". Then Madame Curie thought, "The happiness of my life is constant struggle, and my position is to work in the laboratory." It was this spirit of "one mountain looks at another" that he discovered polonium. Only then did she make great contributions to all mankind. In fact, life is like climbing a mountain. Everyone is climbing up, trying to find their place. There are not a few discouraged people at the foot of the mountain. The level of the position reflects to the greatest extent what efforts are being made now, and there is a certain attitude after harvest. Some people are content with the status quo and do not make progress; Some people keep starting from the finish line and work hard. ()

Only by aiming at truth, goodness and beauty can we reach the peak of Excellence. In pursuit of truth, Einstein changed from a small government employee to an epoch-making pioneer; In pursuit of the best, Shakespeare changed from a shepherd boy to a milestone in the Renaissance. Pursuing the ultimate beauty, Van Gogh insisted on painting in the case of unemployment and poverty, and eventually became an outstanding model of modern painting school ... If these outstanding figures were only satisfied with their own position at first, our world civilization history would go back at least several hundred years.

No matter to people or to the nation, we need to have an eye, a broad mind and strong self-confidence in order to truly advance in "seeing that mountain from this mountain". There is no mountain higher than man, and there is no road longer than man. Know "high" and make progress despite difficulties. Fearless, with the belief that "once you climb to the top, you can see that all the other mountains are short in the sky ...". Climb one life peak after another. We can move towards maturity and perfection.
