One is mutual respect. Respect each other's social systems and development paths, respect each other's core interests and major concerns, respect each other's right to development, treat each other as equals, control differences, and seek common ground while reserving differences.

The second is the land of peace. Non-conflict and non-confrontation is the bottom line that both sides must adhere to. The United States proposes that China and the United States can "exist" and can add two words, peace.

The third is win-win cooperation. The interests of China and the United States are deeply blended, and if they are combined, they will benefit both, and if they fight, they will all hurt. The earth is big enough to accommodate the development of China and the United States. We should adhere to mutual benefit and not play zero-sum games. If you lose, we will win.

China and the United States should focus on four key points.

First, show the responsibility of big countries and lead the international community to cooperate to meet outstanding challenges. In this regard, Sino-US cooperation may not be omnipotent, but it is absolutely impossible without Sino-US cooperation. China's global initiative is open to the United States, and I hope the United States can do the same.

Second, in the spirit of equality and mutual benefit, promote exchanges at all levels and in all fields and inject more positive energy into Sino-US relations. Point out the direction and inject momentum into Sino-US relations. China and the United States share extensive common interests in economy, energy, the two armies, law enforcement, education, science and technology, network, environmental protection, local areas and many other fields. We should learn from each other's strengths and make a big cake of Sino-US cooperation.

The third is to control differences and sensitive issues in a constructive way to prevent Sino-US relations from derailing out of control. It is natural that there are differences between China and the United States. The key is constructive control to avoid enlargement and intensification. Of course, China must safeguard its sovereignty, security and development interests, and we hope that the United States will handle related issues carefully.

Fourth, strengthen coordination and cooperation on major international and regional hotspot issues to provide more public goods for the world. The world is not peaceful. China and the United States should work with the international community to safeguard world peace, promote global development and maintain a just and reasonable international order.
