1: Contemporary College German, edited by Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press, Liang Min, etc. The first and second volumes are accompanied by workbooks.

Description: This textbook has long been used as an intensive reading course for German majors in domestic universities. A complete set of four volumes, with many contents and wide coverage. Each class (except pronunciation) includes pre-class pictures, main texts (usually 3 to 4), text exercises, grammar explanations, grammar exercises, vocabulary, glossary and so on.

The contents of this textbook span a great deal, covering the general situation of Germany, German national life, German literature and so on. Grammar is explained in German, which is difficult for beginners to use. However, if you are interested in studying the basic knowledge of German more deeply and systematically, this textbook will be very suitable if you have a certain German foundation and convenient targeted counseling before.

2. Newly compiled German intensive reading course, Tongji University Press. The third edition (new edition) has been published. Prepared by the German Study Abroad Preparation Department of Tongji University.

Note: This set of teaching materials is mainly used in various German training courses in China, and is mainly written for the intensive study of overseas personnel. The content is relatively new, with a large number of words, covering all aspects of German social life, and according to the requirements of DSH examination, some texts and exercises are selected pertinently. If the purpose of learning German is to study abroad, you can consider using this textbook.

Advantages: There are many listening materials, covering a wide range of contents and complete classification.

Disadvantages: China traces are relatively large, and listening to tapes is not effective.

3. College German (Revised Edition), published by Higher Education Press, edited by Zhang Shuliang.

Description: This textbook is a typical foreign language learning textbook in China. This textbook is much less in pages than the above two sets of textbooks. * * * Four volumes. There are 6 lessons in the phonetic part, and the others are all learning texts. The content of the text includes the text list (main content list), and the difficulty of the text is gradually increasing, which is basically the same as that of the German class. Text glossary, vocabulary, text exercises (including verb explanation, translation, cloze, answering questions, etc. ), grammar (the grammar of this textbook is mainly explained in Chinese and in tabular form, which will have better learning effect for beginners, especially self-learners), grammar practice. Text 2, text 2 word list, text 2 supporting exercises.

According to the author's teaching experience, this textbook is more suitable for learners who want to learn step by step.

Disadvantages: there are few conversational texts and poor practical ability training.

If you learn the first two volumes of this textbook well, you can successfully pass the CET-4. At present, the first and second volumes are equipped with CDs, including texts, text recording, after-class Q&A and text translation.

German is difficult to learn, mainly grammar and vocabulary. Words should be changed and divided into words, but words are easier to remember than English, because there is no phonetic symbol and the words themselves have a regular pronunciation, so they can basically read and write.
