What is ITO? What is the use of ITO conductive film
ITO, the abbreviation of indium tin oxide, is a special semiconductor material. Indium tin oxide is widely used in many scientific and technological fields because of its high transparency and good conductivity.

ITO conductive film is a thin layer of ITO material. The main feature of this film is that it is conductive while maintaining transparency.

Application:

1.** liquid crystal display (LCD) and touch screen * *: ITO film is used as electrode and touch sensitive layer, because it can conduct current without blocking the light of pixels behind.

2.** Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLEDs) and Electronic Paper Display (EPD)**: In these devices, ITO film is a transparent electrode layer, which allows current and light to pass through.

3.** Solar cells * *: In some types of solar cells, ITO thin films can be used as transparent electrode layers.

4.** Electromagnetic shielding * *: ITO film is used to reduce the electromagnetic interference of electronic equipment because of its conductivity.

5.** Anti-static * *: In some applications, ITO film can be used to prevent static accumulation.

6.** Electric heating windows in the cockpit of airplanes and trains * *: ITO film can generate heat by conducting current to prevent the windows from freezing.
