Notes on Submission of China Journal of Fuel Chemistry

Journal of Fuel Chemistry is sponsored by China Academy of Sciences, chinese chemical society and Shanxi Institute of Coal Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The latest research results and progress in basic research and related fields of fuel chemistry at home and abroad are mainly released. The content covers coal, petroleum, oil shale, natural gas, biomass and related environmental protection and application catalysis. Since 2007, we have cooperated with Elsevier Publishing Group, and selected 4-8 better papers for each issue, and published them in the English electronic edition of Journal of Fuel Chemistry and Technology (). If the first author (or contributing author) is a graduate student, please add the signature of the tutor (correspondence contact) to the recommendation letter. Submitting the content of the thesis is the main job of the first author when he is a graduate student. At present, the first author has moved to a new work unit, and the first unit of the paper is a new work unit. In addition to the recommendation letter from the first unit, please attach the signature letter of the first author when he was a graduate student, and add the signature of the tutor.

This print will take the date of receiving the original recommendation letter as the official submission date, and start the preliminary review of the manuscript. If the editorial department does not receive the recommendation letter from the manuscript unit within two weeks after receiving the author's electronic manuscript, this print will be regarded as the author's automatic withdrawal.

We will inform the author of inappropriate manuscripts as soon as possible. Unpublished manuscripts will not be rejected. For manuscripts that have not received news for more than 3 months, please consult the editorial department.

2.2 The publication date of the received manuscript will be decided by the editorial department according to the quality of the article and the return date of the revised manuscript. We will not consider any other reasons why we want to release it in advance.

2.3 For the manuscript to be published, the editorial department will send the proofreading manuscript and copyright transfer agreement to the author by email about 1 month in advance (due to the page limit, there will be 3-4 mobile manuscripts in each issue, and the adjusted manuscript will be postponed to the next issue). The author is requested to feedback the proofreading opinions to the editorial department by email within 7 days after receiving the proofreading draft. Failure to receive the author's proofreading opinions within the time limit shall be regarded as the default proofreading manuscript. After all authors agree and sign the copyright transfer agreement, please scan the original by email or fax to the editorial department within 7 days. Manuscripts without copyright transfer agreements will not be published.

2.4 The author does not need to pay any fees when submitting the manuscript. After the proofreading draft is issued, the author will be notified to pay the paper publishing fee, including page publishing fee (100 yuan/page) and review fee (150 yuan/article). The paper publication fee will issue a formal tax invoice to the author, and the invoice unit is the unit where the communication contact person works, so the author must be asked to provide the accurate communication contact person and his unit when submitting the paper. Due to the need to issue an invoice to the financial department of our hospital, it may take about 1 month for the author to receive the invoice. Please forgive me.

2.5 The editorial department will notify the author to translate Chinese articles (English articles will also be notified to the author) by e-mail. If the articles are recommended to be published in print and English electronic versions after review. After receiving the notice, if the author completes the translation of the article within the specified time (3 weeks) and returns it to the editorial department, the publishing fee and review fee of the corresponding printed article will be exempted. The English electronic version has no publishing fee, review fee and remuneration), and the translation fee equivalent to remuneration shall be paid as appropriate.

2.6 After the periodical goes to press, the remuneration will be paid as appropriate, and two issues of the current periodical will be presented, with the sub-package of 10. The remuneration and periodical donation will be mailed to the correspondent (tutor, the unit that pays the publication fee). The editorial department will not respond to other requests for adding electronic versions of publications, subcontracts and official manuscripts.

3 manuscript format and requirements

3. 1 The title of the article should clearly and concisely reflect the essence and characteristics of the research results, and the length should be appropriate, without using irregular abbreviations, symbols and codes. Mbth and compound words that are not commonly used should be written in full names.

3.2 The author's work unit should write the full name of the specification; Please write the full name of the foreign author, and don't abbreviate the name part. Please write down the name, city, country and postal code of your organization in Chinese.

3.3 Please indicate the following information in the lower corner of the first page of the article:

(1) the name of the fund and the project approval number of the project funded by the fund;

(2) Contact persons and their telephone, fax and e-mail;

(3) Brief introduction of the first author, including gender, year of birth, native place, professional title, degree and research direction.

3.4 The Chinese abstract includes the main conclusions of the article and should be specific to the data. The Chinese abstract should not exceed 350 Chinese characters.

3.5 English abstracts should be more specific

(1) The sentence pattern of English abstract should be simple, generally about 10, with complete meaning and fluent sentences;

(2) There shall be no introduction in the English abstract, and there shall be no explanations and comments on the contents of the paper. Abbreviations, abbreviations and codes must be explained when they first appear, except those that can be clearly understood by readers of adjacent majors.

3.6 Key words should be given behind the abstract. In order to meet the needs of computer automatic retrieval, 3~6 commonly used Chinese and English words are generally selected.

3.7 The preface should briefly explain the following issues

The preface of (1) briefly introduces the history and present situation of relevant research at home and abroad, and leads to representative references, especially the latest progress in recent two years; Explain the purpose of this paper, the problems to be solved and the methods and means adopted;

(2) When introducing the background, we should not ignore the work of our domestic counterparts, please quote the excellent literature in the core journals in this field in China;

3.9 Physical quantities, units of measurement and their symbols shall be implemented in accordance with national standards, such as:

(1) Physical quantities (italics): concentration of lowercase c, pressure of lowercase p, temperature of lowercase t, thermodynamic temperature of lowercase t, yield w, selectivity s, conversion x, chemical shift δ, mass ratio m/m, molar ratio n/n, mass fraction w and volume fraction Ф;

(2) unit (positive): second s (excluding sec), minute min, hour h, day d, concentration mol/L, pressure Pa, length nm, rotation speed r/min, and the unit of chemical shift is 1 (without writing, use ppm to remove ppm). It is inaccurate to express the content of a substance in ppm, ppb, etc. , and should be changed to mass fraction w, volume fraction Ф, molar fraction x or mass concentration (g/ml) according to different conditions;

(3) Pay special attention not to use "ppm".

3. The chart of10 should avoid duplication and be as simple as possible. The data from the same source only need to be represented by a chart or table once, and the charts that can be merged should be merged as much as possible. When it can be described in words (such as when there are only 3~5 data), try not to use charts.

Charts should be self-evident, that is, information about experimental objects, methods, conditions and results can be obtained only from charts, their titles and comments, without looking at the text. Precautions are as follows:

(1) Figures and tables in the chart shall be in Chinese and English, and all other words shall be in English;

(2) The title of the chart should be detailed and complete;

(3) The main experimental conditions are given in the legend and table notes;

(4) If there are abbreviations or codes in the chart, give the full name or explanation when it first appears in the footnote or footnote;

(5) Try to separate the picture from the description in the picture. Curves are represented by lowercase letters in English, such as "A, B, C, etc.", and curve descriptions and symbol descriptions are listed under Chinese and English headings.

(6) The illustrations in this paper are all in black and white, and the files generated by origin drawing software are used as far as possible.

The specific parameters are as follows: Time New Roman and font size (21);

Format → Page →Graph 1 (width: 20cm;; Height: 1 3.5cm) → Layer1(left: 2.8cm; Top: 0.5 cm; Width:16.7cm; Height: 1 1cm)→ line (width:1; Color: black) → symbol (size: 6)

(7) If there are photos, please provide clear black and white photos (it is best to provide a separate JPEG graphic file);

(8) For those spectrograms that have no data and have been processed by the author (that is, spectrograms drawn by spectroscopic instruments), please ask the author to provide their original spectrograms or copies with good quality.
