He has won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, the Excellent Paper Award of Hunan Natural Science, and the third prize of provincial teaching achievements. More than 30 high-level scientific research papers were published by the first author, 8 of which were included by SCI and EI (5 SCI and 3 EI), all of which were included by CA, and several research reports were completed. Teaching courses include nuclear physics, particle accelerator principle, atomic physics, electromagnetic field theory, plasma physics foundation, plasma dynamics theory, advanced electrodynamics and so on. At present, he is the director of Hunan Physical Society, Nuclear Physics Society and Computational Physics Society. He presided over the application of nuclear technology in provincial key disciplines and the construction of nuclear engineering and nuclear technology in key disciplines, and made important contributions to the University of South China's right to confer doctoral degrees. As one of the academic leaders, he won the right to award 1 doctoral degree and 4 master's degrees for South China University, which played a leading role in the discipline.
