Quanzhou TV Station Chen Jiaping

Not all local stations are at a disadvantage in documentary creation, and the discovery of themes is much more convenient than CCTV. As the saying goes, "different styles in a hundred miles, different customs in a thousand miles", the cultural character conveyed by local TV documentaries is undoubtedly personalized and has national characteristics. Therefore, it is easier for local stations to understand the cultural background of the theme, and the grasp of cultural personality is beyond the control of CCTV and other big stations. The accumulation of documentary materials also has a certain process, and local stations also have advantages in this respect, which can reduce a lot of costs. As a director of a local TV station, based on our cultural region, we dig deep into the theme with Minnan characteristics and tell the story of Quanzhou in the world language.

Documentaries "Pinocchio" and "Nanyin Marriage" both won the National Government Award "Golden Bridge Award" and recently won the first prize of Fujian TV Publicity Golden Sail Award. One of the reasons for winning the prize lies in the mastery of the theme, which has strong local culture and Taiwan Province characteristics. Quanzhou is located on the southeast coast, bordering on Taiwan Province Province. It is a famous hometown of overseas Chinese, the main ancestral home of Han compatriots in Taiwan Province Province, the starting point of the ancient Maritime Silk Road, and the first batch of historical and cultural cities announced by the State Council. There are 9 million Taiwan Province compatriots whose ancestral home is Quanzhou, which is also the birthplace of Minnan culture, with cultural treasures such as Nanyin, Puppet Show, Gaojia Opera and Liyuan Opera. Because it is separated only by a strip of water from Taiwan Province Province, it has a very close relationship in history, which has brought us a lot of documentary creation.

Pinocchio (created by Chen Jiaping, Zhang Guilin, Chen Jianju and Liu Kai), the background of this work is: Quanzhou is the hometown of puppets, and the art of muppets and puppets in the palm is "the best in the world". 1At the end of 998, we went to Taiwan Province Province for an interview and learned that the famous puppet in the palm of Xiaoxiyuan in Taiwan Province Province was spread from Quanzhou to Taiwan Province Province 100 years ago, and they hoped to find their roots in Quanzhou. After coming back, we have been waiting for the arrival of Xiaoxiyuan. Xiao Xiyuan finally came to Quanzhou, where he found that the puppet art in Taiwan Province Province was even the same as the dialogue in Quanzhou. The cultural relationship between Fujian and Taiwan is the most convincing at present. After Xu Wang, head of Zhangzhong Puppet Troupe in Xiaoxiyuan, finished his conversation with Quanzhou puppet artist Li Bofen, Xu Wang said with great emotion: "Talking with Bofen made me more clear. All corners of the country are brothers here, and the two sides of the Taiwan Strait are a family. " This actual voice is completely natural, which perfectly shows the theme of human nature in this film. Xu Wang, a puppet artist from Taiwan Province, was so forgetful that he couldn't communicate with the children when performing in kindergartens all over the state. Here, we don't need to explain to "deepen" it, but keep the long lens and the actual sound, so that the real sound and picture can tell people the harmonious relationship between the two sides of the strait.

Nanyin Marriage (created by Chen Jiaping, Zhang Guilin, Chen Jianju and Liu Kai) tells the love story of Quanzhou Nanyin artist Wang Axin and Taiwan Province artist Chen Shoujun. Quanzhou Nanyin is a living fossil of China ancient music, which retains the charm of Han and Tang ancient music. Historically, many Nanyin artists in Quanzhou spread Nanyin to Taiwan Province Province, Hongkong and Southeast Asian countries. Wang Axin, a famous performing artist of Quanzhou Nanyin Orchestra, is one of the earliest brides from Taiwan Province province. When they got married, He Jingzhi, then Vice Minister of Culture, presided over their wedding. This theme with cultural characteristics and Taiwan Province characteristics has attracted our attention. We accumulated materials and went to Taiwan Province Province to shoot and interview, which mainly recorded Wang Axin's family life and performing life after she married Taiwan Province Province. For the integrity of the story, we waited for nearly two years until their family returned to Quanzhou for the Lantern Festival and attended the Quanzhou Nanyin Conference. From Taiwan Province Province to Quanzhou, our records never stopped, and a lot of moving materials provided a good foundation for the production of this film.

Because we pay attention to the choice of theme, focus on our own cultural region, dig and discover the theme of overseas Chinese and Taiwan with southern Fujian characteristics, and tell the story of China with local characteristics in the world language. Many programs are broadcast on CCTV international Chinese channel and overseas media, which has great influence.
