1. Chinese core journals are what we usually call core journals. It was included in the catalogue of Chinese core periodicals published in Peking University. They are published every four years and now use the 2008 edition.

2. China Science Citation Database (CSCD) was founded in 1989. Starting from 1999, it is a series of China scientific literature measurement and evaluation database co-sponsored by the Literature Information Center of China Academy of Sciences and China academic journal (CD-ROM) electronic magazine, and officially published by Tsinghua Tongfang CD-ROM Electronic Publishing House. CSCD is divided into core database (C).

Microcomputer Information belongs to CSCD Extension, but it is not the core periodical of electrical engineering or computer.
