This book is divided into eight chapters, focusing on:

Second, the pronunciation and phonology of Chinese characters;

Third, write the form, sound and meaning of the three elements;

Fourth, the structure of the sentence;

Fifth, the meaning of words and sentences;

Sixth, the changes of ancient and modern languages;

Seven, the promotion of major dialects and Putonghua;

Eight, Chinese character reform and Chinese Pinyin.

After that, this book recorded seven reading notes of Mr. Lu when he was studying.

After reading Linguistics Invitation, I don't feel much after reading this little book by Teacher Lu. In fact, it will be interesting to write China's "writing, literature and culture" according to the idea of "linguistic invitation"!

Also, I didn't expect Mr. Lu to be very in favor of promoting Pinyin and listed many benefits. Amitabha, fortunately it didn't work. Otherwise, we have to write pinyin ourselves and learn Chinese characters to read ancient Chinese. Isn't the task more arduous? And didn't it forcibly divide our modern and ancient times?
