1. First, make a scatter plot according to the existing data.

2. Then click the chart, move the mouse to the upper right corner, click an icon, and then select a type under the trend line.

3. Right-click the added trend line, and then click Format Trend Line.

4. Click other trend line types to see which type is most suitable for the current scatter chart.

5. After selecting the trend line type, you can further adjust the parameters to make the trend line and scatter chart more match. The so-called better matching means that every point on the scatter chart falls on the trend line as much as possible.

6. Then select the Show Formula check box. In this way, we can not only see the trend of the data, but also predict the data according to this formula.

7. Adjust the size of the scatter chart and the position of the label, and finally beautify the scatter chart.
