China's manufacturing industry not only faces many contradictions, but also faces new challenges in recent years. In the era of economic globalization, a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation is on the rise, and China faces the severe challenge of "re-industrialization" of industrialized countries.
"Made in China 2025" is being led by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and will be officially released soon, which includes strategic tasks such as enhancing the innovation ability of manufacturing industry, strengthening the basic ability of manufacturing industry, deeply integrating manufacturing industry with information technology, and comprehensively promoting green manufacturing. The first strategic goal of manufacturing a powerful country is to strive to become a world manufacturing power in 2025 after 10 years of efforts.
Three outstanding problems of manufacturing industry in China;
First, the ability to innovate is not strong. According to relevant statistics, China's innovation capability index (GII) and global competitiveness index (GCI) are only in the 25th ~ 30th position in the world. According to the Report on the Development of World Innovation Competitiveness (200 1—20 12) published by China Social Sciences Literature Publishing House, the global ranking of China's innovation competitiveness in 20 10 was 15.
Second, the core technology is weak and the technology is absent. The engines of C9 19 passenger plane developed by China are all imported. The key materials and components of heavy gas turbines being developed, such as superalloy orientation and single crystal blades, still depend on imports.
In recent years, China has increased its investment in the research and development of CNC machine tools, but 80% of high-end CNC machine tools still rely on imports. 20 13 China is already a big consumer of robots, ranking first in the world, but 80% of robots are imported.
Third, resources are wasted and pollution is serious. In 20 10, China's GDP accounted for about 7.5% of the world, but it consumed 9.6% of the world's energy. The added value of China's manufacturing industry accounts for about 32.6% of China's GDP, but energy consumption accounts for 58.0% of the national energy consumption.
In 20 10, the energy consumption per unit product in China's steel and building materials industries was about 10% ~ 20% higher than the international advanced level. Serious air and water pollution has become a matter of great concern to people all over the country.
