In recent years, he has presided over scientific research projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation project "Theoretical and Experimental Research on Intelligent Vibration Isolator", the State Power Corporation project "Wind Vibration Control of Long-span Transmission Tower", the western traffic construction project of the Ministry of Communications "Nonlinear Simulation Research on Truss Stiffened Suspension Bridge", "Special Research on Super High Pier of Longtan River Bridge on Shanghai-Chengdu National Road" and "Hubei Provincial Construction Department Project". China has designed and built more than 50 base-isolated buildings. In recent years, in order to solve the safety problem of bridges in high-intensity areas, people try to extend the isolation technology from buildings to bridges. At present, isolation technology has been applied to the following bridges in China: the approach bridge of the third Aodang Bridge, which has been completed and opened to traffic (the first large-scale bridge with isolation technology in China); Lhasa Liu Wu Bridge under construction; Linzhi Bridge in Tibet, Dongsha Bridge in Guangdong and Tongan Bay Bridge in Xiamen are under design.

In recent years, more than 60 research papers have been published in important journals at home and abroad, including more than 20 EI articles. The research achievement "complete isolation technology" won the first prize of the Ministry of Education, the second prize of national scientific and technological progress, the third prize of the Ministry of Education for "building base isolation" and the first prize of Hubei Province in 2009 for "research on isolation technology and engineering application of continuous beam bridge". Two other scientific research achievements passed the ministerial appraisal, and participated in the compilation and publication of the Atlas of Building Isolation.

The positions and social part-time jobs in academic organizations include: executive director of Hubei Metrology Association, director of Hubei Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Association, member of expert committee for seismic review of out-of-code high-rise buildings in Hubei Province, member of China Aerodynamics Engineering and Industrial Aerodynamics Professional Committee, member of the structure group of China Power Transmission Professional Committee, editorial board of Urban Science Edition of Journal of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, editorial board of Engineering Earthquake Resistance and Reinforcement and Reconstruction, and invited editorial board of Architectural Science.

In recent years, she has won the honors of advanced female workers in Hubei Province, the "Guangdong Nortel" Award, the top ten female teachers in the school, the excellent tutor of master students in the school, and the excellent graduation design guidance awards for undergraduates in 2000, 2003 and 2004.
