Brief Introduction of the Author of Chinese Fir Tree
Professor Peng Zhenhua obtained an associate professor's degree in biology from Leningrad University of Forestry and Technology in July 1964.

He is currently the chief scientist and doctoral supervisor of the Chinese Academy of Forestry. Chairman of Anhui Ecological Society, editor-in-chief of China Urban Forestry and Journal of Anhui Agricultural University, and deputy editor-in-chief of Applied Ecology and Forestry Research.

The main research directions are forestry ecological engineering, urban forest, land use, forest genetics and breeding, etc. He has presided over more than 30 national and local major and various scientific research projects, such as Research on Comprehensive Management and Development of Low Hills and Beaches in the Middle and Lower Reaches of the Yangtze River, Research on the Construction of Forest Ecological Network System in China, and Research on the Development of Modern Urban Forests in Shanghai. Scientific research achievements won the first prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award 1 item, 2 second prizes of National Science and Technology Progress Award and 5 provincial and ministerial science and technology progress awards. Published monographs 1 1, and published more than 100 scientific papers.

The professor won the first prize of the first Liang Science and Technology Award, 200 1 outstanding contributor in the Ninth Five-Year Plan, and was awarded the title of "National Excellent Professional" in 2002. In 2004, he was awarded the title of "Top Ten Talents in China".
