Introduction to cross-cultural communication
Introduction to Intercultural Communication focuses on intercultural communication. It can also be called cross-cultural communication. China's cross-cultural communication research began in the early 1980s, which was not long, but it developed rapidly. Hundreds of papers have been published in academic journals and twenty or thirty monographs. From 65438 to 0995, the first cross-cultural communication seminar in China was held in Harbin, and a national cross-cultural communication research organization-China Cross-cultural Communication Research Association was established. 1997 the second seminar was held in Beijing. Scholars and professors from foreign languages, teaching Chinese as a foreign language, linguistics and psychology participated in the research of cross-cultural communication. Although their research perspectives are different, they all made their own contributions to the establishment of cross-cultural communication in China. Cross-cultural communication is a new discipline in China, which is developing rapidly, and more and more scholars and teachers are involved, which is very gratifying.
