Defining a clear, scientific and feasible career goal is the first step of tax career planning, which will make us take fewer detours and get twice the result with half the effort. After listening to Wang Bin's lecture, combined with my actual situation and future development trend, I plan my career goal as: to be a down-to-earth person, study hard, work hard, and strive to be a tax worker with trust from leaders, reassurance from organizations, satisfaction from the masses and harmony between social interests and personal interests.
Subdividing this goal can be summarized as the following four points:
First, become a well-behaved and progressive tax worker;
Second, become a tax worker who loves learning and is rich in knowledge;
Third, become a tax worker with proficient business and outstanding ability;
Fourth, become a tax worker who is satisfied with all parties and has a good reputation.
Second, the way to achieve the goal
As the saying goes, "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step, and the nine-base platform begins with a single step." After determining the career goal, what ways and channels are used to achieve this goal? In my opinion, we can work hard at the same time from three aspects: being a person, studying and politics, and finally combine the three into one to successfully achieve the goal of our cause.
First of all, in terms of human nature. The ancients said, "cultivate one's morality first" and "cultivate one's morality" have always given us good guidance on this issue. At the just-concluded 2008 symposium of civil servants' pre-service training directors, Director Liu Jun asked us to grasp three basic points of life: pursuing, being modest and knowing how to repay; Duan Guanglin, deputy director, wants us to be good people before we become tax cadres. Chairman Dong emphasized that people should be honest, have a correct attitude and start from scratch. Bruce Lee, director of the Baoan District Branch where I work, put forward a six-character message of "being a good person and doing good deeds" when welcoming the newly recruited civil servants in 2008. All these leaders' inculcation gave us guidance and set an example for us to be a man.
Secondly, in order to learn. Shenzhen State Taxation Bureau has always stressed the importance of building a learning organization. Being in such a group, we should always regard learning as an important task. As a new civil servant, I want to learn from leaders and colleagues. They are diligent and pragmatic, wise and sincere, open-minded and cheerful, and have a modest, rigorous and practical working attitude. In my eyes, they are amiable elders, and their warm care for the younger generation is like the spring breeze melting rain and moistening things silently; They are also serious role models, and their dedication to their work is like a sunny summer day, and their enthusiasm is like fire; They are even more intimate friends, and being honest with their friends is like a sweet spring that moistens their hearts. At the same time, we should also study hard professional knowledge, business ability, communication ability and teamwork ability. "In a threesome, there must be a teacher." I will try my best to seize every opportunity, form a modern learning consciousness, actively implement autonomous learning, and study my business ability, professional knowledge and working methods with my heart.
Finally, for politics. Taxation provides a powerful financial guarantee for building a harmonious socialist society and realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. As a tax worker, we should adhere to the working principle of "gathering wealth for the country and enforcing the law for the people", contribute our youth and wisdom to the "harmonious, efficient and clean" national tax construction in Shenzhen, and do our duty and contribution to the tax cause of * * * and China. Since you have chosen to engage in tax-related work, you should love your job, think about what taxpayers think and be anxious about what taxpayers are anxious about. In the future work process, we should adapt to the work as soon as possible and actively cultivate public servant consciousness, ability consciousness and learning consciousness. I want to have a bright future and a tortuous road. In the process of work, you will always encounter all kinds of difficulties and challenges, but as long as you firmly believe that "there are no bad things, only irresponsible people", study with an open mind, work hard and communicate actively, you will certainly play a specific role in the tax cause and write a colorful note in your work achievements.
Three, the ability, training and education needed to achieve the goal.
I set my career goal, chose the way to achieve it, and then I will work hard for it. However, the road to achieving the goal is not Ma Pingchuan, but full of challenges. In the meantime, you need to improve your comprehensive ability, need scientific and systematic training, and need to receive relevant education.
First, from the perspective of ability, we need to improve our learning ability, organizational ability, business ability, cooperation ability, expression ability, communication ability, writing ability and many other abilities, the most important of which are learning ability, business ability and writing ability.
Among them, learning ability is the foundation, business ability is the key and writing ability is the guarantee. In the future work, learning will always be a main thread throughout the whole process. We must make use of every opportunity to learn business knowledge, working methods and communication skills, so that the work can be smoother and smoother.
As a tax worker, the level of professional ability is related to the completion of the national tax cause and whether the rights and obligations of taxpayers can be realized. Therefore, doing everything possible to improve my business ability, improve my business proficiency and broaden my business knowledge is the direction I have been working hard in the future.
In addition, writing ability is one of the important guarantees for the smooth development of tax work. In daily work, we should not only write tax analysis reports, related professional papers, policy suggestions, working methods, etc. , but also to complete some formal documents, such as summary, plan and program. Because our newly recruited civil servants are generally in grass-roots sub-bureaus, there are not many opportunities to contact the leaders and colleagues of the municipal bureau or other district bureaus and sub-bureaus, so a good writing skill will better show our working ability and research results.
Secondly, from the perspective of training, in my opinion, participating in the research activities of regional bureaus, municipal bureaus and even provincial bureaus is an important way to exercise your professional ability. In the process of investigation, I not only had the opportunity to get in touch with leaders and colleagues with rich work experience and outstanding work ability, but also went deep into the front-line reality, investigated and collected the frontier information needed for tax work, and improved my theoretical level and writing level by writing investigation reports. In addition, we should take an active part in various activities, such as speech contest, essay writing activity, literary activity, sports competition, etc. While showing their talents, they can also quickly integrate into the working environment, organizational culture and team building.
Thirdly, from the perspective of education, we should cherish every training opportunity. Whether it is initial training, pre-job training or business training, we should learn with an open mind, listen to lectures carefully, and receive education on business knowledge, comprehensive quality and working ability. Of course, you can also sign up for various on-the-job education according to your own conditions and actual situation. If you work for a period of time, you can study for on-the-job graduate students or doctoral students, or receive mba education or party school education. Generally speaking, actively accepting all kinds of favorable education is an important driving force for achieving the goal smoothly.
Fourth, the positive force to achieve the goal.
"The Art of War" once said: "Know yourself and know yourself, and you will be invincible", which can be described as the originator of pros and cons analysis. The classic "swot" rule in modern marketing also judges the feasibility of achieving the set goals by analyzing the advantages and disadvantages. I will analyze the positive forces to achieve the goal from three levels: country, unit and individual.
At the national level: the social and economic development situation is good, the comprehensive national strength is increasing day by day, and the international status is constantly improving. The overall trend of the whole environment is gratifying, which provides a good external environment and foundation for achieving the goal.
Unit level: Shenzhen State Taxation is a heroic collective, which has created many firsts in the field of taxation, such as the first establishment of a tax consultation and call center (12366 1), the first realization of taxation in the same city, the first establishment of a tax service brand "Easy Taxation", the first realization of paperless tax collection and management files, and the first full adoption of iso9000. Learning on such a platform is a kind of luck in itself; Working with excellent leaders and colleagues is an improvement in itself.
Personal level: Dialectics clearly mentions that external factors are the conditions for the development of things, and internal factors are the basis for the development of things. Therefore, with a developed external environment and a harmonious and efficient collective, one's own conditions have become the key to achieving the set goals. Personally, my personal character cultivation, tax professional knowledge, interpersonal communication skills, organizational cooperation skills and expressive writing methods will all be powerful boosters for me to achieve my tax career goals.
Five, the resistance to achieve the goal
It is true that, as Director Dong of the Municipal Bureau emphasized at the 2008 symposium of civil servants' pre-service training directors, the future is bright and the road is tortuous. The road to the goal is not smooth, but full of thorns.
First of all, with the development of social economy, we need to master more abilities, handle more responsible situations and handle more difficult problems. If you don't study and work actively, it will be difficult to adapt to the pace of modern tax development and to complete the tax task.
Secondly, the temptation from power will continue to increase. With the promotion of position and power, the working level and social status are relatively high, and more resources are supported and dominated. So power is more attractive to people, especially men. It is not only an arduous task, but also a great challenge to correctly handle the relationship between "power, responsibility and benefit" and strive to make "power for the people, affection for the people and benefit for the people".
Third, treat material interests correctly. People's pursuit of work, power and willingness to communicate with others is the most basic means to pursue a kind of material and meet the needs of life. People often think that human desire for material things is infinite. Working in the IRS, whether you can resist all kinds of material temptations thrown by taxpayers, and whether you can resolutely "walk by the river forever, that is, don't wet your shoes" are the basic conditions for realizing your career goals.
Finally, the resistance of career bottleneck. Personally, I feel fresh and enthusiastic about my work. But after working for a period of time, I still repeat the same work every day. Can I keep my enthusiasm for work? When the position has not been promoted, will you feel bored? When the work doesn't improve, or you can't get the appreciation of the leader and the recognition of your colleagues, will you shrink back? These problems seem distant, but they are actually very realistic.
Sixth, the specific plan to achieve the goal
The above has analyzed the career goals, the ways to achieve them, the motivation needed to achieve them, the positive strength and resistance to achieve them in turn. Now I will make a specific plan based on my own characteristics and actual situation.
Short-term planning
One-year plan: the first year is the probation period for newly recruited civil servants. In this year, I will integrate into the environment, adapt to work, show myself and complete the smooth transition from college students to tax workers. Specifically, it is to quickly integrate into the working environment of Shenzhen national tax, actively adapt to the work, communicate with leaders and colleagues at all levels, and show themselves to everyone. For example, by participating in various activities, publishing some articles, leaving a good initial impression on leaders and colleagues, successfully passing the probation period and becoming a formal civil servant of the IRS.
Three-year plan: after the completion of the transformation, focus on improving business ability and learning ability. Specifically, it is to conscientiously complete their own work, actively participate in various surveys, and actively learn business knowledge. On the one hand, I will learn tax-related knowledge by taking the CPA exam and consolidate my business foundation; On the other hand, we should strengthen the study of economics and English, strive for on-the-job graduate students after working for one year, and improve our comprehensive quality through academic education. In addition, I will strengthen the study of theory, especially the study of tax theory, and write relevant professional papers to gain some original work experience and experience.
(2) Medium-term planning
Five-year plan: I will get married at this stage, thus shouldering the dual responsibilities of family and career. At the same time, if I have the opportunity to participate in the competition for the position of department-level cadres, I will prepare carefully, correct my mentality, work hard, strive for competition for posts, and realize the promotion of my position. Before that, I will strive to be a tax worker with good moral character, comprehensive ability, hard work, outstanding performance and integrity from five aspects. At the same time, in order to complete my academic education, if possible, I will continue to study for a doctor's degree in order to make greater breakthroughs.
(3) Long-term planning
Ten-year plan: This period will be the mature stage of my career development, but new challenges will follow. For example, how to handle the contradiction between work and family? How to deal with contradictions in marriage? How to educate children? How to honor parents? These problems must be properly solved. Otherwise, any problem that can't be solved well will affect the realization of the set goals. Due to lack of experience, there is still a lack of rational understanding of long-term planning. However, I believe that as long as the short-and medium-term planning can be successfully realized, the planning content can be adjusted and enriched step by step, and the goal of tax revenue can be achieved!
