Research areas:

Microgravity fluid mechanics, fluid stability and its fluid interface phenomena mainly include natural convection and thermocapillary convection, Marangoni convection and Marangoni-Benard convection, multi-layer fluid convection and instability, liquid covering dynamics control of material growth, shape stability of solid-liquid interface, convection and interface evaporation, convection and vibration effects, etc.

During my stay in France, I participated in the theoretical analysis and research work of the European IML-2 microgravity fluid space experimental research program.

After returning to China, he participated in and undertook the pre-selection project of climbing (95-Pre-34), research on some major basic interdisciplinary subjects of microgravity science, convection and diffusion of microgravity fluid, and space experimental research on SJ-5 small satellite "multi-layer fluid space carrying experiment" (92 1-2 fluid physics subsystem). Key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation "Basic Research on Microgravity Fluid Physics" (1978920 1), "Hundred Talents Program" of Chinese Academy of Sciences (199800 19), "Research on Convection and Interface Phenomenon of Microgravity Fluid" and "Knowledge Innovation Project (Important Direction) Project of Chinese Academy of Sciences" Published more than 40 academic papers at home and abroad.
