What do the F and O prizes in American mathematical modeling mean?
O Award refers to the Excellence Award, Grand Prize and MCM/ICM add up to 0.5%.

F prize refers to the finalists and grand prize candidates, ranking between 0.5% and 0.6%, ranking first. If there is plagiarism in the O-prize paper, you will be awarded the exclusive prize, and the supplement of the F-prize will become the O-prize.

The awarding institution is COMAP (American Federation of Mathematics and Its Applications).
