Brief introduction of LDPC code
LDPC code is a kind of block error correcting code with sparse check matrix proposed by Robert Gallager of MIT in his doctoral thesis 1962. It is suitable for almost all channels, so it has become a research hotspot in the field of coding in recent years. Its performance is close to Shannon limit, and its description and implementation are simple, and it is easy for theoretical analysis and research, simple decoding, parallel operation and suitable for hardware implementation.
