Pay attention to being kind to others and be charitable; Ask yourself and advocate kindness. I remember a famous person said that for everyone, the only power is the law; For an individual, the only strength is kindness. There are two short stories. One is that after a storm, thousands of fish were washed to the beach. Whenever a little boy finds one, he sends it to the sea, and he takes pains to pick it up.
An old man who happened to pass by said to him, "You can't pick up a few in a day." The little boy picked it up and said, "At least the fish I found has gained new life." At that time, the old man was speechless.
Another story happened in the jungle of Brazil. A hunter shot a leopard and saw the leopard crawling with its intestines for half an hour. He came to the two cubs and fell down after feeding them the last sip of milk. Seeing this scene, the hunter broke the shotgun with tears of regret. If the previous story is about children's kindness to life, then the hunter's conscience discovery in the latter story can be regarded as a kind of kindness.
Dr. Zheng has also heard such a story:
A bakery owner came to court angrily and accused the farm owner who had provided him with fresh cream for many years of fraud.
The judge heard the case in court. In response to the complaint of the bakery owner, he accused the farmer of unreasonably concealing the weight of the whipped cream when supplying it, and asked the farmer if he had any reply.
The owner of the farm was inexplicably summoned by the court, and only then did he find out what was going on. He told the judge that every time he used whipped cream, he weighed it in advance and would never be short of weight. He thinks this should be a misunderstanding.
After hearing this statement, the bakery owner immediately produced strong evidence and presented the unopened fresh cream that the farm owner had just sent the day before to the judge. The judge saw that the package of this can of whipped cream said that it weighed one kilogram, but actually it was only over 800 grams.
The judge immediately angrily questioned the owner of the farm, who dared to open his eyes and find fault with such a short weight. The owner of the farm innocently confessed to the judge that in the countryside, there was no scale on the farm, and he always used the traditional scale to weigh himself. And every time he sends whipped cream to the bakery owner, he always buys a kilogram of bread back to the farm as a family-sized meal. In order to save trouble, the farm owner always puts one kilogram of bread bought at one end of the scale and the same weight of whipped cream at the other end, ready to send it to the bakery owner next time.
The judge listened to the farmer's statement and looked at the flushed bakery owner. I really don't know how to judge this case.
A friend of mine has read the following treatise on kindness, and Dr. Zheng took pains to reprint it as follows:
The robbers, wearing Spider-Man masks, rushed into a shop in the northern Czech town of Jiexin, pulled out their guns and asked the clerk for money. Marchetta Vahova, a 59-year-old shop assistant, didn't strike back or give money to the robber, but handed him a cup of tea and a piece of cake unhurriedly.
A miracle happened. The robbers put down their hostility and chatted with Vahova. They talked easily and harmoniously. "I asked him why he did it, and we started chatting. There was no one else in the shop at that time, so I guess he relaxed a little. " Vahova said.
Vahova also told the robber that he could tell her his story, drink tea and eat cakes if he wanted. The robber actually agreed, and before he left, he did not forget to apologize and thank Vahova.
Wahova's cup of tea and a piece of cake quietly saved the day. Although the robber wore a Spider-Man mask, Vahova was convinced that "he is a nice young man"-it was this kind idea that successfully saved Vahova himself.
A true story happened in a city in the south of China: two inexperienced kidnappers kidnapped a 6-year-old child. They were penniless while waiting for the ransom. One of them went out to borrow 20 yuan and bought two boxes of lunch boxes, one for the children and one for the two kidnappers to share. The rescued child said to the policeman, "Uncle policeman, let these two uncles go. They are not bad people. They are so poor. "
Two "inexperienced" kidnappers failed to kidnap, but they won the sympathy of the kidnapped child, a 6-year-old child. He even pleaded with the police uncle for them. All this stems from their small kindness-they gave their children a box lunch bought with borrowed money, while the two adults shared another box lunch.
This sounds incredible, but in the eyes of a 6-year-old child, this goodwill left him with a much stronger and deeper impression than the fear brought by kidnapping. This is the power of goodwill, which can make the abductees ignore the fact that they have been kidnapped and choose to stand on the side of the kidnappers.
There is a very ordinary barber shop in Sur, a city in southern Lebanon. Its owner is farris. One day, a man in rags came to the shop. Farris warmly greeted him to sit down and carefully cut his hair. The man said his name was Sammy and he worked in a nearby construction site. Sammy is much more energetic after his haircut, just like a different person.
It's time to pay Sammy said he had no money at all. He only bought a lottery ticket a few days ago. Sammy said that if he won the lottery, he would give half of the prize money to farris. Farris smiled, knowing that Sammy was unlikely to win the prize, but he readily agreed.
No one would have thought that a miracle really happened.
A few days later, Sammy took $75,000 to get a haircut. He actually won the lottery, with a bonus as high as $654.38 +0.5 million.
When traveling, helping others or being helped by others is a kind of happiness. After many years, I still feel warm when I recall it, even if it is only to guide the direction; When entering a shopping mall or convenience store, the receptionist's kind smile is more touching than saying "welcome" ten times.
An Indian once said, "If someone finds an arrow on the road, he doesn't care which direction it comes from, what wood the shaft is made of, what metal it is made of and what class it belongs to. He won't ask so many questions, he will only try to pull out the arrow from that person. " This is goodwill, the most instinctive and primitive kind of goodwill. It is this kind of goodwill that allows mankind to be passed down from generation to generation.
The ancients said, "Wisdom comes from a pure heart, and happiness comes from doing good." The heart is like a seed, growing between heaven and earth, and the emotions of joys and sorrows create the heart of good and evil. With a kind heart, behavior and language will be very different. People with good intentions will certainly go wider and wider in life.
Dr Zheng Weijian's comments are: 1. Kindness is a universal language, which can make the blind "see" and the deaf "hear". Good-hearted people, with hot hearts and hot feelings, can drive away the cold and sweep away the haze. Goodwill produces good deeds, and contact with kind people often opens up wisdom, noble sentiments, purifies the soul and broadens the mind. Get along with kind people, you don't have to be defensive and calm.
Only by sowing kindness can we collect hope. A person can endure the days of "lack of gold and less silver", without a gesture that surprises others, but without kindness, it is enough to make life run aground and fade-because kindness is the gold of life. More kindness, more humility, more tolerance and more understanding make people feel the beauty and happiness of life. This is what kind people yearn for and pursue, and it is also advocated and advocated by our hardworking and kind Chinese nation.
