Etiquette, paying attention to personal etiquette, is a sign of mutual respect and friendship among members of society, a virtue, and a concrete embodiment of a person's moral cultivation in social activities. As we all know, "what you do is what you say and what you feel". If personal etiquette is not based on social morality, but on personal character cultivation and cultural accomplishment, it is bound to backfire. Because it can't show respect and friendship to others in essence, it can't really impress each other, infect each other, enhance friendship and harmonious relations, and make the work fall into a passive situation.
Only when a person has noble moral sentiments in his heart can he have romantic and elegant manners. Only those who are moral, educated, educated and knowledgeable know how to be reasonable, be strict with themselves, be lenient with others, and consciously act according to social morality, respect others, observe and maintain social morality, and create civilized governance and a relaxed and happy living environment for themselves, so as to truly distinguish right from wrong.
For individuals, personal etiquette is the moral norm and standard of civilized behavior. For a country, personal etiquette belongs to a kind of social culture, is the basic element of socialist spiritual civilization, is the symbol of national culture and tradition, and is the classic of governing the country and safeguarding the people. China, known as the "state of etiquette", has always advocated etiquette and attached great importance to etiquette education. Monarchs and sages of past dynasties also regarded etiquette as the criterion of all behaviors, and all ruled the country with etiquette and taught people with etiquette. Facts have proved that personal etiquette has a positive effect on purifying and beautifying society. Personal etiquette is a powerful moral force, which enables every member of society to consciously adjust his behavior according to the requirements of socialist civilization, abandon bad habits, and finally bring his words and deeds into the orbit of etiquette in line with the times to conform to the trend of social development.
People already know that good personal etiquette and standardized behavior are not innate, nor are they built in a day. Only through unremitting efforts and careful education can it be gradually formed. Therefore, it can be said that the process of personal etiquette from civilized behavior norms to personal conscious and natural behavior is a gradual process. To complete this transformation, three different forces are needed, namely, personal motivation, educational motivation and environmental appeal.
Personal motivation, also known as personal subjective initiative, is the fundamental condition for people's behavior and ideological changes, and it is also the basic premise for people to improve their own quality and form good manners and customs. As social people, only when people have the courage to overcome themselves and constantly improve their ideology can they give full play to their subjective initiative, show strong self-discipline in their actions, consciously overcome their bad behavior habits and consciously resist foreign rude behavior. At the same time, we should study hard and keep making progress, so that personal etiquette can be deeply rooted in people's hearts and truly become an important part of a good personality. Therefore, the formation of personal etiquette needs personal motivation and self-discipline spirit.
In the future, I will improve my personal etiquette from the following five aspects;
First, take the individual as the fulcrum.
Personal etiquette is a variety of regulations on the personal behavior of social members, not a restriction on the behavior of any social organization or other group. But because each group is composed of a certain number of individuals, every social organization is also composed of a certain number of organizational members. Therefore, individual behavior will directly affect the survival and development of any group, social organization and even the whole society. In this sense, people emphasize personal etiquette and standardize personal behavior, not only to improve their own inner self-restraint, but more importantly to promote the orderly and civilized development of society.
Second, based on self-cultivation.
Personal etiquette is not a simple expression of personal behavior, but the embodiment of personal morality in social activities, which embodies a person's inner character and cultural accomplishment. Without inner cultivation, it is impossible to consciously abide by and consciously implement the specific provisions of personal etiquette on personal behavior. Only "inner sincerity" can be "layman", so personal etiquette must be based on personal cultivation.
Third, respect is the principle.
In social activities, paying attention to personal etiquette and consciously acting in accordance with the provisions of personal etiquette must follow the principle of respecting others. Respect others, and people will always respect them. Only by respecting others can you win others' respect for you. Under the socialist conditions, personal etiquette not only embodies the new relationship of mutual respect and friendly cooperation between people, but also can avoid or alleviate some unnecessary conflicts between individuals or groups.
Fourth, take beauty as the goal.
Follow the principles of personal etiquette and respect for others, and act according to the civilized and polite standards of personal etiquette, so as to better shape your image and fully show your good-looking style. Personal etiquette teaches people to recognize beauty and ugliness, helps people distinguish right from wrong, and guides people to civilization. It can make personal image perfect and people's lives better and better. So people say that personal etiquette aims at "beauty".
Fifth, take the long-term as the policy.
Personal etiquette does bring beauty to people and civilization to society, but it can't be done overnight, nor can it be done in one day. It must go through the long-term unremitting efforts of individuals and the continuous development of society. Therefore, in mastering personal etiquette norms, we must not rush for success, let alone have the idea of quick success.
