Grades can also promote students' interest. In most cases, students will try their best to prepare for the exam in order to get high marks. In the process of preparation, they will be interested in what they have learned. Then they may get good grades in the exam. On the other hand, they will find their courses more interesting and more passionate. In addition, out of interest, they have more opportunities to discover other knowledge related to their courses. Take me for example, my geography was very good in high school, so I was interested in all the knowledge about geography, such as the names of all the capitals, the climate of other countries and so on.
