Panorama is one of the effective methods to enlarge according to pictures at present. This paper introduces the production process of panoramic image, and classifies, summarizes and compares the most key technologies of panoramic image mosaic algorithms. On this basis, it puts forward a feature-based automatic image mosaic algorithm of 1 class, which uses Harris corner detection algorithm to extract feature points, matches the starting points of feature corners, and cleans up external points by minimizing the value, so that the calculation of transformation matrix is accurate. Finally, color fusion is carried out to generate seamless mosaic images. In most cases, the algorithm can be completed automatically. The test results show that the algorithm has achieved ideal mosaic results.
