First of all, the course introduction

1. Course nature

Steelmaking technology is a specialized course of metallurgical engineering major in metallurgical department. It is planned to offer 90 hours, including 80 hours of classroom teaching, 4 hours of textual research counseling and 6 hours of simulation experiment. Sophomore is offered next semester.

This major trains students with strong professionalism, sense of responsibility and hard-working spirit, masters the basic theories and skills necessary for iron and steel metallurgy, and has strong hands-on ability. After graduation, students can produce and solve practical technical problems in the front line of iron and steel metallurgical enterprises, and become specialized talents in secondary technology application. According to the training goal of skilled talents, the teaching outline of this course is formulated. Its purpose is to make students have the necessary basic knowledge and skills of converter steelmaking and electric furnace steelmaking, and initially form the ability to analyze and solve practical problems, so as to prepare for students to engage in steelmaking professional work in the future. (We have adjusted the original curriculum system, mainly according to the characteristics of vocational education, and adjusted the original steelmaking into three courses: steelmaking technology, refining outside the furnace and continuous casting technology and equipment. This course system includes three modules, namely, iron and steel metallurgy principle course, this course and the corresponding steelmaking production training course.

This course is based on the principles of "necessity" and "sufficiency" and strives to combine theory with practice. Fully reflect the application characteristics and ability standards of higher vocational education, set up steelmaking simulation experiments in the course, and integrate practical links into the classroom, which improves students' learning interest and practical ability. At the same time, relying on the training base of Masteel Steelmaking Plant, students can visit the production site in person to increase their perceptual knowledge and knowledge of future jobs, and they can go to practice if conditions permit. Through the systematic theoretical knowledge and practical skills training of this course, students can achieve:

(1) Be familiar with the production process of converter steelmaking and electric furnace steelmaking, and understand the basic operation.

⑵ Be familiar with the main equipment and control instruments in the steelmaking plant, and have the ability to operate metallurgical production and deal with practical problems.

(3) Pass the national labor department examination and obtain the post certificate of intermediate steelworker.

2. Teaching staff

Since the opening of this major, the course of steelmaking technology has gradually formed a double-qualified teacher echelon with reasonable structure, stable personnel, high teaching level and good teaching effect, and established a training system for young teachers, equipped with practical instructors. Specially invited enterprise professionals to undertake some courses, practical teaching and guidance.

3. Teaching content

In terms of teaching content, according to the requirements of the syllabus, on the basis of traditional technology theory, we should vigorously supplement new knowledge, new technology, new technology and new achievements to realize the modularization of teaching content; According to the requirements of national vocational skill appraisal standard and teaching plan, the teaching contents of converter steelmaking and electric furnace steelmaking are determined, which are closely combined with production practice and graduation design (thesis), paying attention to students' active participation, comprehensive application and practical ability training, and highlighting the characteristics of higher vocational education.

4. Teaching methods and means

Pay attention to the use of advanced teaching methods and means, compile teaching courseware for steelmaking process, and have fixed multimedia classrooms, simulation laboratories and electronic reading rooms. Buy steel furnace model and process teaching board, collect videos and pictures of on-site operation, rationally use modern information technology, and reform traditional teaching methods and examination modes. At the same time, take the way of "going out, please come in", set the classroom in the workshop of factories and mines or invite experts and engineers to give lectures to students in the classroom, and take the road of joint training of students by schools and enterprises.

5. Teaching materials

We choose the textbooks designated by higher vocational colleges and are building three-dimensional textbooks with characteristics, integrated design and organic combination of various media.

6. Basic content of the course

The main contents of this course include:

Basic reaction in steelmaking process. Include that thermodynamic and kinetic basis of steelmaking. Molten steel and steel slag. Pretreatment of steelmaking raw materials and molten iron. Steel-making process of trioxygen converter. Steelmaking process of four-alkali electric arc furnace. 5. Introduction of new steelmaking technologies and processes.
