[Paper Keywords] college students' artistic accomplishment

Abstract: Art education is helpful to improve college students' ideological and moral quality and accomplishment, and is conducive to college students' health and personality improvement. In improving college students' art education, we should improve our understanding of college students' art education and attach importance to the curriculum construction of art education.

First, the need to strengthen college students' art education

On May 23rd, 2002, the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC) and China promulgated the Working Rules of School Art Education, which was formally implemented on September 1 2002. Article 3 of the Regulations on School Art Education stipulates: Art education is an important way and content of implementing aesthetic education in schools and an organic part of quality education. School art education includes: art course teaching, extracurricular and off-campus art education activities, and campus culture and art construction. ? Modern education emphasizes people-oriented, all-round development of morality, intelligence, physique and beauty, and individualized development. Art education is one of the important means to cultivate all-round talents. Art education helps to improve college students' ideological and moral quality and cultural accomplishment, promote their intellectual development and creativity, and improve their mental health and personality. Contemporary college students in the primary and secondary education stage, art education? Congenital deficiency? ; In college, in many colleges and universities? Acquired disorder? College students lack artistic knowledge and artistic accomplishment. No matter from the national standards or the actual situation of colleges and universities, it is very necessary to offer special art education courses and strengthen college students' art education.

Second, the status quo of college art education

In recent years, with the state's emphasis on art education in colleges and universities, public art education in colleges and universities in Gansu Province has also made certain development and progress, but there are also some problems.

(A) insufficient attention to public art education

First of all, the school still pays insufficient attention to art education and lacks funds; Secondly, there is a shortage of full-time public art teachers. According to the Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Education on the National Public Art Curriculum Program in Colleges and Universities in 2006, the number of public art education teachers in colleges and universities should account for 0. 15% ~ 0.2% of the total number of students, of which full-time teachers should account for 50% of the total number of art teachers. According to incomplete information, there are few colleges and universities in Gansu province that are engaged in public art education. One of the main reasons is that public art courses are mostly elective courses, with few class hours and insufficient workload of teachers, which leads some teachers to enter professional departments or transfer to related majors with the expansion of enrollment; Second, colleges and universities focus on professionals in talent access, resulting in relatively few full-time public art teachers.

(2) Public art education lacks positioning and long-term planning, and curriculum construction, teaching staff and hardware facilities need to be strengthened.

It is understood that in ordinary colleges and universities in Gansu Province, there are not many schools offering art courses for non-art majors. One of the problems that contemporary college students need to solve urgently is basic literacy. Before 1990, there were few courses in humanities and arts in colleges and universities, mainly college Chinese. Since 1997 fully implemented quality education for college students, humanities courses in many colleges and universities have been extended to the appreciation of Chinese and foreign masterpieces, Tang poetry and Song poetry, etc. And the art curriculum has also expanded to basics, folk music appreciation, symphony appreciation, drama appreciation, basics, film and television music appreciation and so on. Its effectiveness mainly depends on whether the teachers are well equipped, whether the teaching facilities can meet the needs of curriculum arrangement, and whether the competent authorities attach importance to it.

Due to the lack of teachers and multimedia classrooms in many universities, students can only choose one of the two courses of music appreciation or appreciation, which means that not every student has the opportunity to be influenced by music education. This situation exists in many colleges and universities.

(3) The artistic quality of college students needs to be improved.

At present, a considerable proportion of students enrolled in colleges and universities in China come from. Due to the present situation of exam-oriented education in China and the relative lack of rural education resources, music education for these students is relatively out of touch or missing in the pre-university education stage. When they enter the university, their artistic knowledge is relatively lacking, which makes them at a loss. The results show that 89% of college students in Gansu Province are illiterate. During their college years, 85% and 90% of college students have never heard of symphonies or visited any art exhibitions. Many college students either spend a lot of spare time on online games, animation and martial arts films that are not commensurate with their age and education, or bury themselves in practical professional courses such as postgraduate entrance examination and scholarships, ignoring artistic edification, which undoubtedly limits the development of students. The reasons are: first, students' lack of understanding of artistic literacy; Secondly, some colleges and universities lack understanding and guidance on art education.

Therefore, in view of the current situation, colleges and universities must incorporate college students' art education into the teaching plan and curriculum system, so that college students can have the necessary artistic knowledge through the teaching of art courses; Carry out colorful and diverse artistic activities and form a good atmosphere for art education.

Third, improve the thinking of college students.

(A) to improve the understanding of college students' art education

University art education has been neglected for a long time, and understanding the problem is the key. Although the Ministry of Education began to promote the development of art education from 1997, it is far from enough in strength, breadth and attention, which is far from developed countries. Art education is an important part of aesthetic education. Ritual, Music, Shooting, Imperial, Calligraphy, Counting Six Techniques? It ranks second in China, and in Europe, for a long time, art has been tied to astronomy and so on. Four subjects? . Modern educational science is regarded as the most popular and infectious art form and aesthetic education method. From 65438 to 0994, the United States listed art education (music, music, music) as the core content of national education, which shows the position and role of art education in cultivating talents. Therefore, to strengthen and improve art education, we must first change our concepts and attach importance to art education.

(B) pay attention to the art education curriculum construction

The main task of art education in colleges and universities is to offer relevant art courses for college students and carry out colorful extracurricular art activities. Through art education, college students' ability and artistic accomplishment can be cultivated and improved, and the curriculum construction of art education is the core of improving the level of art education in colleges and universities and promoting the sustainable development of art education.

1. Clarify the teaching content and improve the teaching plan and syllabus.

In many colleges and universities, the curriculum of art education is often not determined by the laws of art education and teaching itself. It is understood that: first of all, the determination of course content and class hours is very arbitrary and subjective; Secondly, it is not very scientific and reasonable in the selection of teaching materials and the test scores given; The teaching plan and syllabus are not clear, the teachers take classes casually, and even simply imitate or copy some courses in art colleges. Therefore, we must strive to improve the teaching plan and syllabus, standardize teaching methods, use advanced multimedia resources for teaching, carry out colorful art activities, provide broad artistic space for students, and make art education achieve the purpose of improving college students' artistic literacy, so as to play its due role in comprehensively promoting quality education.

2. Strengthen the construction of teaching materials

According to the investigation of art education textbooks in colleges and universities, we find that although there are some textbooks, these textbooks have great limitations, and the contents of the textbooks are varied and inaccurate. Textbooks should be suitable for non-art majors in colleges and universities. Textbooks should be different from the related courses of art introduction and art specialty. It is not a course, but a popular reader of art knowledge for non-art majors in colleges and universities. Textbook writing should aim at improving students' artistic perception and aesthetic ability in content setting, and can apply the mastered artistic knowledge to real life in combination with reality. This can optimize students' knowledge structure, strengthen students' aesthetic experience and artistic accomplishment, make them become educated and noble people, and then promote the formation of students' ability to use knowledge and create, with the basic value orientation of developing college students' basic artistic accomplishment, aesthetic ability and improving their quality of life.

3. Carry out a variety of extracurricular cultural and artistic activities.

Art education is an important part of quality education and an important means of campus culture construction. In the construction of campus culture, carrying out various forms of extracurricular cultural and artistic activities will help to improve the style and taste of campus culture, help college students to form a civilized and healthy lifestyle, cultivate their temperament, purify their thoughts and improve their character, thus promoting the harmonious and healthy development of college students' body and mind and creating a good atmosphere for art education.

Fourthly, the significance of strengthening college students' art education.

The purpose of strengthening college students' art education is to improve their artistic accomplishment. By cultivating and improving college students' sensitivity, appreciation and creativity to art, their character can be improved and their feelings can be enriched. Through art education, college students can learn about China's excellent artistic and cultural traditions and foreign excellent artistic achievements, enhance patriotism, cultivate the ability to feel, appreciate, express and create beauty, establish a correct aesthetic concept, resist the influence of bad culture, cultivate sentiment, develop personality, enlighten wisdom, stimulate innovative consciousness and creativity, and promote students' all-round development. Therefore, it is particularly important to strengthen college students' art education and improve their artistic quality.
