The difference between prose and argumentative writing
The difference between them lies in the way of expression and purpose.

1. Expression: Prose is expressed by lyric, description and narrative. It pays more attention to emotions and personal feelings, and usually does not pursue rigorous logical proof. Argumentative writing pays attention to logical thinking and reasoning, and supports opinions by citing facts, data and logical reasoning.

2. Purpose: The purpose of prose is to express personal feelings, opinions or experiences, so that readers can feel the same and get aesthetic pleasure. The purpose of argumentative writing is to expound one's own views through argumentation and refutation, and to influence readers' thinking and decision-making.
