Bashu writing materials
As early as 1942, Mr. Juxian Wei published 48 H-shaped decorative symbols on Bashu bronzes in the 7th issue of Shuowen Monthly. As a result, the information of Bashu characters was officially published in academic circles. However, some Eagle products have also been mixed in. Since 1950s, with the deepening of archaeological work in Sichuan, more and more Bashu written materials have been discovered. It is urgent to sort out those scattered materials in time for researchers' reference.

1April, 978, Ms. Liu Ying of Sichuan Provincial Museum resolutely shouldered this heavy responsibility, and used her convenient collection conditions and good painting skills to carve a mimeographed copy of Bashu bronze wares, which initially concentrated a number of important Bashu characters and decorations. 1983, she supplemented and perfected this achievement, and officially published it in the seventh series of Cultural Relics with the titles of Bronze Decorations of Bashu and Weapons of Bashu and Their Decorative Symbols, which became one of the most cited documents by Bashu historians.

Most of the original Bashu characters concentrated on various weapons. There are many images and characters, but a few box characters only exist on some long hugos. Ms. Liu's "Bashu Weapons and Their Decorative Symbols" points out that Bashu weapons were unearthed in Wushan and Wanxian in the east of Sichuan, Lushan and Shimian in the west, Guangyuan in the north, Qianwei and Yibin in the south, especially in counties near Chengdu. From Shang and Zhou Dynasties to Western Han Dynasty. From the archaeological point of view, these weapons have distinct local characteristics. In this paper, Bashu weapons are divided into four categories: ge, spear, sword and money. According to Feng's research, it can be divided into:

1. 1 is a long auxiliary with no beard, the front part is slightly bent downward, and the inner side is pointed like a peach. Generally, there are decorative patterns in the auxiliary part and the interior. Among them, the surface of children's songs in Chengdu traffic lane is engraved with silkworm patterns. 1976 the children's song unearthed in Mianzhu helped the company to cast a tiger head.

The formula 1.2 is similar to formula I, but there is a long and flat diaphragm between Goben and the interior.

1.3 type pueraria lobata is a pointed triangle with no beard and inside. Among them, an aid in the collection has an eagle carved on both sides; The other piece has a three-character inscription on the inside near the diaphragm (that is, the "Golden Stone Institute" Kuige).

1.4 type pueraria lobata is long, narrow and straight, with extremely wide back, ridges and curved leaves. Among them, 1979, the bronze aid department is carved in the shape of a dragon; In 1950s, the children's songs unearthed from Ma Zi Temple in Chengdu have images and characters of Bashu (the middle is like a bone knife, the right is a continuous arc of three triangles, and the left is a hexagonal star and Japanese symbols.

1.5 has Hugo, which can be divided into four types: medium Hu and long Hu. The aid department is engraved with dragon and tiger patterns. Bashu characters often appear in this type of children's songs. Among them, there are images and characters on the inside and top of Dong Sunba in Baxian, Baoyunyuan in Guangyuan, Tomb No.34 in Yang Zishan, and Ge No.3 in the collection. The 4-style Ge unearthed in Fuxi, Emei, has a dragon pattern from the vessel to the carving, and there are images and characters on the upper part of the vessel. In Xindu and Pixian, there is a row of Bashu square characters similar to Yi initials carved on Hu. Du Baishu in Pixian County and Xintian in Wanxian County also have a line of square characters on their faces, but the strokes are slightly more complicated, similar to ancient Chinese characters. There are many arched ear systems, which are divided into:

2. 1 spear is a long skeleton, roughly equal to the leaf length, and images and characters are applied to both sides of the mandible. 1976 The spear, tiger pattern, flower pedicle and chin unearthed in Xinjin have three heads. On the one hand, it is the combination of handwriting and Chinese character "Wang", the combination of bee pattern and broken line, and the combination of hook and container image. 1979 A piece collected by Guanghan Cultural Center, with tiger, star and animal faces on one side and aquatic plants, deer, heart handwriting, double broken lines and plant symbol combinations on the other.

2.2 Spears are short skeletons, and the figures are still on both sides of the mandible. One unearthed in Fuxi, Emei, is a combination of frog pattern, seven stars, double bun sword stand, calligraphy, writing heart and chin. Mostly willow-shaped, with flat stems, divided into:

3. 1, 3.2 The sword has no lattice, the stem end is perforated, and the picture and text are shallowly engraved on the sword base. One of them is an unearthed sword, with a tiger pattern on one side and the moon, stars, birds and calligraphy on the other.

3.3 Style sword has a grid, and the image text is also on the base of the sword. A piece unearthed from Sun Dong Dam in Baxian County is engraved with a winged man with a square symbol in each hand; There is a cloud symbol with a rectangular box below. 4. The1cymbal is oval and curved, and many simple symbols are engraved near the shoulder.

4.2-shaped cymbals are straight-waisted and arc-edged, and symbols are mostly engraved on the shoulders.

4.3 type graupel shrugged.

In order to facilitate the research, Ms. Liu decomposed the Bashu characters on the weapon into 180 symbols, which were divided into 17 sequences and concentrated on one picture. This is undoubtedly a valuable work for the interpretation and reading of Bashu characters.

The article "Illustration of Bronze Ornaments in Bashu" discusses the main ornamentation on utensils and supplements Bashu characters. Among them, it is mentioned that 1965 "Fu Wen" (cymbals) unearthed in Baihuatan, Chengdu, has a circle of patterns on the cover, and two groups of images and words are arranged oppositely; There is also a group of image characters in the inner circle; Each group consists of two icons. Ms. Liu broke down many bronze decorative patterns and put them on a picture. 6, 7 and 8 in the picture are the characters on the cover of Baihuatan. 1980 A number of artifacts were unearthed from Majiachang Warring States Tomb in Xindu, with the same symbol engraved on them. 18 in the picture is a Bashu character. 1950 The images and characters on the feet of moire copper rings unearthed in Xinjin are shown in Figure 24. There are also two spoon-shaped copper belt hooks, and there are also combinations of images and words. A large number of Bashu seals unearthed in recent years are also concentrated in one painting; Among them, rotary printing and intaglio carving are the majority. It is worth noting that among these seals, the Chinese character "Wang" is not uncommon.
