Fuzzy Mathematics in China
While the United States, Japan, France and other world mathematical powers have successively studied fuzzy mathematics, and made some progress in stages, China began to pay attention to the study of fuzzy mathematics in 1976, and world-famous fuzzy scientists A.kaufman (France), E. Sanchez (France), Ye Ying (Japan) and Chinese American P.P.Z came to China successively. China Association of Fuzzy Sets and Systems was founded in 1980. 198 1 founded fuzzy mathematics magazine, 1987 founded fuzzy system and mathematics magazine. He also published a lot of valuable works. For example, Fuzzy Sets and Random Sets written by Professor Wang Peizhuang, Fuzzy Set Theory and Its Application edited by Professor Zhang Wenxiu, and Fuzzy Mathematics Foundation. From 65438 to 0988, Professor Wang Peizhuang of China directed several doctoral students to develop a prototype of a fuzzy inference machine-discrete components. Its reasoning speed is 6.5438+0.5 million times per second, which indicates that China has taken an important step in breaking through the difficulties of fuzzy information processing. China researchers have made outstanding achievements in the field of fuzziness. Academician He Xingui published a paper on vagueness in authoritative magazines at home and abroad. This indicates that the research on China has reached the advanced level at home and abroad. So far, China has become one of the four research centers of fuzzy mathematics in the world. (USA, Western Europe, China, Japan)

Professor Wu Tieping, a famous linguist, published a classic paper "A Preliminary Study of Fuzzy Language", which aroused the concern and research on fuzzy language in the field of humanities and social sciences. Professor Wu Tieping is the first scholar who put forward the concept of "fuzzy linguistics" and engaged in the study of specific fuzzy language phenomena in China. Among all the disciplines related to fuzziness, fuzzy linguistics is one of the most interesting. His monograph "Fuzzy Linguistics" has great influence in the industry, with high evaluation and many awards.

2005 is a bumper year for all fuzzy researchers and scholars in China. In this bumper harvest year, there are two great events to celebrate. First of all, after the expert evaluation by the International Association of Fuzzy Systems (IFSA), it was finally decided to award the "Fuzzy Researcher Award" to Academician Liu Yingming, Vice President of Sichuan University in China. "Fuzzy Researcher Award" is the highest award in the field of fuzzy mathematics, which is specially awarded to internationally recognized scientists who have made outstanding contributions in the field of fuzzy mathematics.

2. On August 20th, 2005, the Fuzzy Information and Engineering Branch of China Logistics Association was formally established. The establishment of Fuzzy Information and Engineering Branch of China Logistics Association, one of the first-class societies in China, shows that fuzzy mathematics has achieved its due position in China, especially with the attendance of Professor Zade, founder of fuzzy mathematics. Professor Yuan Yaxiang, chairman of China Logistics Association, Professor Liao Jianshe, vice president of Institute of Mathematics and System Science of Chinese Academy of Sciences and president of Guangzhou University presided over the opening ceremony of the society. This has also greatly encouraged fuzzy researchers all over the country. The purpose of the branch of fuzzy information and engineering is to improve and strengthen the research of fuzzy set theory, and pay more attention to the application of fuzzy technology and the development and research of fuzzy products.

Note: 1. The president of Guangzhou University is Yu Jianshe.

2. The first president of Fuzzy Information and Engineering Branch of China Logistics Association was Professor Cao of Guangzhou University.
