LAM Raymond's research expertise and major achievements
The main research directions are social and economic history of Ming and Qing Dynasties, ancient financial history of China and regional social and cultural history.

Since 2000, he has undertaken a number of scientific research projects, such as the National Social Science Fund Project, the Postdoctoral Fund Project and the Fujian Social Science Fund Key Project, and participated in the research work of important projects such as the National History Compilation Project. He has written more than 30 papers independently, and has independently written, translated and edited several monographs. He has won the second prize of Fujian Excellent Doctoral Thesis, the third prize of Fujian Excellent Achievements in Social Sciences and the first prize of Xiamen Excellent Achievements in Social Sciences.
