What should a senior who asks for help from a master of law take for a second interview?
Hello, students, Du Wen PubMed DuDu shared HERMAN-ONE's experience of re-examination in Tsinghua in senior three:

Tsinghua Fashuo's second interview has always been famous for its difficulty, because the written examination involves literature, history, geography, science, technology, politics and so on. And it is very wide and difficult to prepare; Another point is that the proportion of brushing people is very large, and everyone will be more flustered. In fact, after careful preparation, the result will not be too bad, and you don't have to be too nervous.

The re-examination of Tsinghua Fashuo is divided into two parts: written examination and interview, with each score of 100. Multiply the two points by 2.5, and the initial test score will be the final total score, and the students will be selected according to the ranking of the total score.

First, the written test

The range of written examination in Tsinghua Fashuo retest is relatively wide, and the written examination topics are not standardized, which makes it more difficult to review in Tsinghua retest. But generally speaking, the relatively fixed questions are noun explanation, ancient Chinese translation, discussion, essay and so on.

1. Noun explanation: The investigation covers a wide range, including astronomy, geography and humanities, but mainly focuses on current events in the last two years (all the noun explanations in our 18 are hot topics in current politics). This is actually about your knowledge and attention to social hot issues. Personally, it is best to start accumulating this at ordinary times and spend a few minutes watching the news every day. Long-term short-term knowledge reserve is much better than short-term high-intensity assault. Political hotspots, Baidu Encyclopedia, and annual hot words are all sources of noun interpretation, especially paying attention to politics! As for the answer to the second interview, write as much as you know. Don't try to write, even if it's just a little, don't leave it empty. Just pay attention to the time.

2. Sentence-breaking and translation of ancient prose: The content of the investigation is mostly ancient prose in the pre-Qin or Ming and Qing dynasties, and the overall difficulty is not great. I usually spend half an hour practicing every day, but in the end it's almost all right. Bibliography: China's view of ancient literature.

3. Essay/Essay: The content of the investigation is very extensive and difficult to predict. Personally, I think the investigation is mainly logical thinking, divergent thinking and a little legal thinking. Usually try to write comments on some topics or hot cases, which is also helpful for the interview ~

Second, the interview

The interview process is self-introduction+interview topic selection+oral English survey, and the time is about 20 minutes.

1. It is best to control the time of self-introduction within 2 minutes. This year, some groups just skipped this process and started chatting. But you must be prepared. Self-introduction is the first impression to the teacher, and the content of self-introduction may affect the teacher's questions later. You must be familiar with the things in your self-introduction.

2. The interview is a random question, and Tsinghua's re-examination questions are all open questions, which seem to have nothing to do with the law, but they will return to the law in the subsequent continuous questions. The most important thing in an interview is to relax and broaden your mind, and it is best to rely on the law. But don't casually answer questions that you don't know well, or you will be easily stumped by the teacher. Teachers also like to ask you some questions about undergraduate majors (especially for students in hot subjects such as economics and sociology), so it is necessary to review some basic and important knowledge of this major before the second interview.

3. Oral English is not very difficult, and teachers don't pay special attention to it, so don't worry too much about oral English, but good oral English must be a big plus. If your English is good, you should seize this opportunity. Students with poor oral English must be prepared to write personal introduction, hobbies, hometown, undergraduate schools, career planning, undergraduate majors and other common problems. Students in small languages should also pay attention. The teacher may ask you in a small language, so don't say that you are good at small languages.

In a word, Tsinghua's second interview is to examine an individual's comprehensive ability, and the breadth of knowledge, basic knowledge of classical Chinese, logical thinking and divergent thinking are the key aspects. Recommended books: Legal Scarecrow, Principles of Constitutionalism, Wisdom of Chief Justice, Rule of Law and Its Local Resources, etc. , mainly legal essays and basic theory of law, which is very helpful for the cultivation of legal thinking!

This year's postgraduate entrance examination results were released late, but it is estimated that the second interview time of Tsinghua Fashuo will be around the middle and late March. No matter what the expected score is, you can't say for sure if you don't really get the result. I suggest you start preparing early, lest it be too late. Everyone has worked hard along the way, but please hold on, whether it's a high score or a pressure line, it's the same in front of Tsinghua Fashuo's second interview. Although high scores have advantages, they will not be admitted without careful preparation; Even if you press the line, you can get high marks and prepare for a counterattack!

I sincerely wish you a Tsinghua dream!
