Why is it unstable after the first-order difference?
High frequency noise, nonlinear trend.

1. High-frequency noise: In some time series, there is high-frequency random disturbance or noise, which may be more prominent after the first-order difference, and some non-random changes are retained. This makes the difference sequence still unstable.

2. Nonlinear trend: First-order difference can usually eliminate linear trend, but for some nonlinear trends, such as exponential growth or periodic trend, the difference may still have some influence.
