Text:
Nature has given birth to many lives, and human beings are one of them. Hundreds of millions of years ago, man was just a single cell; The seas are dry and the rocks are rotten, and the stars move. Man has made a little progress, and so far he has the power to dominate nature. Maybe human beings can't stop the natural laws, such as sandstorm, drought and climate warming ..... but human beings have realized the existence of these problems and are actively intervening and reducing the reaction of nature.
Hydroelectric power generation uses water with potential energy, such as rivers and lakes, to flow from high places to low places, and converts the potential energy contained in it into kinetic energy of a turbine, and then drives a generator to generate electricity with the turbine as the power. Using water power (with water head) to drive hydraulic machinery (turbine) to rotate and convert water energy into mechanical energy. If another machine (generator) is connected to the turbine, it can generate electricity with the rotation of the turbine, and then convert mechanical energy into electrical energy. In a sense, hydropower is the process of converting the potential energy of water into mechanical energy and then into electrical energy.
Because the power voltage generated by hydropower plants is low, if it is to be transmitted to distant users, the voltage must be increased through transformers, then transmitted to substations in areas where users are concentrated through overhead transmission lines, and finally reduced to a voltage suitable for household users and factory electrical equipment, and then transmitted to various factories and families through distribution lines. These are the best examples of human beings making full use of the power of nature to serve human beings.
Although mankind has made great success in using nature, its destruction can not be ignored. The rapid development of human industrialization has led to air pollution, water pollution, global warming and the destruction of the ozone layer ... which have seriously endangered human health, and nature has returned the destructive power of human beings to human beings.
Every year, 9 million people die of diseases caused by pollution. When human beings pollute the air, they will naturally punish human beings and bring more and more diseases of asthma, respiratory system, cancer, immune system, endocrine system and reproductive system. Water is an indispensable substance for human beings. In the process of industrialization, some people directly discharge seriously polluted wastewater into rivers for short-term benefits, which eventually leads to the pollution of crops, fish and even drinking water, and the human diet is no longer safe. This is also nature's punishment for human beings.
These problems have been realized by human beings, and we need the joint efforts of all mankind to protect our environment and nature. Protecting nature means protecting us, because human beings have seen the consequences of nature's anger. Cherish nature, let us live in harmony and love each other.
