? In order to ensure the smooth and orderly work of degree awarding in the autumn of 2022, according to the work arrangement of the school, the relevant work arrangements such as the evaluation, defense and degree application of graduate dissertations are hereby notified as follows:

I. Doctoral thesis defense and degree application

1. The deadline for applying for doctoral defense in autumn degree is September 2022 19.

2. Those who reply after the deadline can apply for the next batch of degrees.

Second, blind evaluation, defense and degree application of master's degree thesis

1, blind test in school:

All master's dissertations (of various types) of the positions applied for are required to participate in the blind examination in the school (in duplicate).

(1) Master students can submit their papers for blind inspection in the school only after the "degree management" in the "graduate education management system" has completed all the links before the "paper review".

(2) Before September 8th (including that day), each college shall submit the information table on the subject direction of pre-graduated master students in autumn 2022 (see annex 1), and after examination and approval, the college will upload the papers to the blind evaluation system for master's degree theses. (Note: Those who have submitted the blind assessment papers in the school need not hand them in again)

(3) The blind test scores of academic master schools are uniformly entered by the degree office. According to the regulations, the master's thesis of professional degree must be submitted for another off-campus evaluation, and the results will be entered into the postgraduate education management system by tutors and students. After the blind test scores in the school pass (B and above), the degree office will select the best from the two and enter them into the system; After the grading results are completed, the tutor will uniformly review the grading results and the revision of the paper.

2. Off-campus blindness:

(1) All students who are not on the summer master's candidate list are required to take the off-campus blind test, and those who have not been selected in the past are still required to submit the blind test paper.

(2) Before September 8th (including that day), all colleges will send the completed information collection form for off-campus blind examination of master's degree thesis (named: information collection form for blind examination of thesis _ student number, see Annex 2), compressed master's degree thesis (PDF format) and abstract (TXT format) to clbit@bit.edu.cn. (Note: Those who have submitted off-campus blind comments do not need to submit them again)

(3) The electronic version of the blind commentary shall not contain any information that reveals the names of the authors and tutors. The academic papers published during the school period are embodied in the form of * author+title+source of published papers, and * stands for "one, two, three" and so on. Thanks are omitted. The electronic version of the submitted paper is required to be in PDF format, named as: 10007_ Second discipline code _ Student ID _LW. The abstract is in TXT format and named as: 10007_ Two Subject Codes _ Student Number _ZY.

(4) The deadline for applying for master's collective defense in autumn is September, 2022 19. The master's thesis is strictly examined by tutors, disciplines and colleges, and students must participate in the collective defense organized by the college.

(5) Implement the pre-distribution system. Those who fail to obtain the results of off-campus blind drawing before replying may reply first. Before the degree certificate is issued, the blind selection result must be qualified. Please refer to the Regulations on Anonymous Evaluation of Master's Dissertations of Beijing Institute of Technology (No.[20 17]07).

Third, the time of submission of degree application materials and the arrangement of degree meeting

1. Each college shall submit the degree application materials to the corresponding degree evaluation sub-committee before closing on September 20, 2022.

2. The Sub-committee of Autumn Degree Evaluation and the Academic Degree Conference are expected to be held on September 23-29, 2022.

Four, master's thesis review requirements

1. All units are requested to attach great importance to the evaluation of master's degree theses and complete the tasks with high quality according to the time node and marking requirements.

2. All units are requested to strictly check the duplicate of master's degree thesis 100%, focusing on the quality of part-time graduate degree thesis, and the graduate school will check the duplicate of the thesis applying for the degree.

3. All units are requested to strictly review the revision work after the thesis defense to ensure the final quality control and ensure that there are no unqualified papers.

4. Implement the accountability system. If the sampling inspection of master's degree thesis in Beijing fails, the enrollment of tutors will be stopped for 2 years, the enrollment plan of the college will be reduced, and the year-end performance appraisal of the college will be deducted.
