Rational View on the Development of Old China

From the Opium War in 1840 to the founding of New China in 1949, China experienced a period and explored the way forward.

Although there are many setbacks, the overall situation is still developing.

Many historical figures have contributed to this.

Among them, Lin Zexu and Humen became the first people to open their eyes to the world.

After the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom Movement, Li Hongzhang promoted the Westernization Movement to save the country.

Although he signed many shameful treaties, it did not prevent him from leading the scientific development of old China, and it did create a more advanced Beiyang Navy.

When none of these movements could save the country, Kang Youwei's Reform Movement of 1898 brought a new enlightenment to China culture, which directly led to the New Culture Movement in the Republic of China.

The New Culture Movement headed by Chen Duxiu marked the progress of China's thought.

When the ideological atmosphere advanced to a certain extent, Li Dazhao, as a pioneer of Marxism, introduced Marxism to China, and since then, the revolutionary cause has flourished.

Under the leadership of Chairman Mao, the new China was born.

Throughout the struggle history of 100 years, there have been twists and turns, confusion and even mistakes.

But none of this can stop the progress of history.

Because this is the necessity of social development, New China will have a better tomorrow!
