The School of Information Science and Technology of Nanjing Forestry University has three undergraduate majors: computer science and technology, electronic information engineering and electrical information engineering, and three professional directions: network system, software technology and microelectronics technology. There are three master's degree programs: measurement technology and instrument, computer application technology and control theory and control engineering, and two professional degree awarding programs: instrument engineering and agricultural extension (agricultural informatization direction). The college consists of three departments: computer science and engineering, electronic information engineering, electrician and automation. It has two provincial demonstration centers, namely, Computer Teaching Experimental Center and Electrical and Electronic Experimental Center, and two research institutes, namely, Computer Technology and Application, Test and Control Technology. The laboratory covers a total area of more than 5,000 square meters, with instruments and equipment worth about140,000 yuan, more than 25,000 professional books and materials, and more than 10 off-campus practice bases. There are 72 faculty members, including 5 full-time and part-time professors, 5 associate professors 15 and 6 master tutor 16. About 90% of full-time teachers have a master's degree or above. Strong teachers and good hardware facilities provide a reliable guarantee for cultivating outstanding talents to meet the needs of society. In the long-term practice of running a school, I have accumulated a whole set of teaching management experience, and trained graduates of all levels and types, which have been well received by employers, and the employment rate of graduates has been in the forefront of the school for many years.
