Urgent need for customs declaration and international freight practice report
[Looking forward] Internship is a good test opportunity for every fresh graduate to master the knowledge he has learned in this major. Through nearly a year's internship, I deeply realized that it is not easy to combine theory with practice. Through this month's efforts, I am familiar with the workflow of foreign trade business and the organizational functions of foreign trade companies, and have accumulated some practical experience for me to truly enter the post in the future.

I left school and went home in June 2007. Then I went to Shenzhen in July, a city with developed materials. Fortunately, I have relatives in Shenzhen, but because it is inconvenient to find a job in the suburbs, I have been wandering for nearly a month. I was at a loss and under a lot of pressure. After all, in such a developed city, there are many talents. But I'm lucky. I went out to look for a job for the first time, bought a map, went to the talent market, tried to submit several resumes, and then informed the interview. I got up early that day, got on the bus, asked for directions and arrived at the company. In fact, I don't know why that time. I am confident, so I think I will definitely get the job. After more than two hours of written examination, interview and natural dialogue, I passed smoothly.

I am very happy. The environment of the company is very good. I am on the top floor of a high-end office building, accounting for more than half of the whole office building. Founded in 1978, the company is an American-funded enterprise engaged in toy export trade. At the same time, it has branches in the United States, Taiwan Province Province, Hongkong and Shanghai, and offices in Britain and Australia, with more than 100 members. And has its own factory, located in Huizhou, with more than 200 employees.

My position is foreign business assistant, and I am in MADD Group. MADD is an Australian company. Through us, we can find him a manufacturer and give us a commission. Therefore, our group must do business with MADD for our company, so there are two bosses, and we do more and more complicated things than other groups. Our Shenzhen company has more than 50 employees, including business department, finance department, commodity department, shipping department, engineering department and art department.

The company has accommodation, just opposite the company, a house with three bedrooms and one living room, all furniture and appliances are complete, air conditioning, TV, DVD, refrigerator, washing machine, microwave oven and so on. Seven people, although few people, but the company provides such accommodation in Shenzhen is already very good. Go to work at 8: 00 15 every day, get up at 7: 30, wash and have breakfast, then go to the company, swipe your card and start the day's work. Our business department has an early meeting every day, and different people preside over it every day. Mainly to count the work, inspection and delivery of the previous day, as well as the work arrangement of the day. The minutes of the meeting every Friday are made by our group. I've done it several times. It's a headache. Because I speak fast and have many things, I can't remember everything clearly. Later, the supervisor taught me how to remember these things scientifically and then organize them. When I first entered the company, I was at a loss about everything, didn't know what I should do, and was at a loss. Fortunately, the supervisor is very good. Girls around the age of 27 or 8 took me and taught me a little. I am very grateful to her for this. Because the bosses of many companies will tell you that the company is not a school, not for you to learn things, but for you to work and win benefits for the company. So, thank my supervisor! Because the company has many customers and complex business, it is necessary to learn to place orders in the trading system from the beginning. This is a very important but complicated matter. Orders include working papers, P/O, POI and many other things, and they are all in English. Any small mistake will lead to different consequences. Of course, I made many mistakes, such as the quantity, delivery and price of the order. There are many misprints on the wheat and so on. Fortunately, after our order is typed, it will be submitted to the supervisor for review, then to the general manager, and then sent out. At first, I could only type three orders a day, and they were all wrong. Therefore, it took me more than a month to learn this trading system and complete it independently. Subsequent orders will be sent directly to the factory without having to be reviewed by the supervisor. Once I made a mistake in the number of orders, and as a result, my boss made more than 4000 yuan of stocks for nothing. Then I was invited to the general manager's office for education.

Learned a lot, the whole international trade process, the relationship between commerce and finance, shipping and commodities. Settle every order, send samples, book shipping space after receiving the order, and so on. All this is very complicated and meticulous. There are hundreds of emails in our mailbox every day, so in fact, we are dealing with those emails most of the time, constantly sending and receiving and replying. The telephone in the office keeps ringing every day.

During this time, I learned some trivial things, but I really realized the bitterness of my work. I feel that there is a serious shortage of professional knowledge in the school and I can't adapt to the fierce work requirements, such as customs declaration and inspection. For those of us who have just come out with little work experience and have not studied professional courses at school, we can't compare with those veterans at all. Their English is useless at all. They talk and laugh with foreigners. And they all speak foreign trade terms and don't understand them at all. They all say the code name of the goods, and some colleagues speak English and Japanese very well.

Five and a half days a week, eight hours a day. But we always work overtime every day. Sometimes it even adds up to 1 1 at night, and things that can't be done are dizzy. Because I haven't been here long, overtime is definitely necessary. There is no overtime pay, but there is a meal supplement, which is a comfort to us. It's actually quite depressing. I don't want to talk when I enter that office building every day. When I go to bed at night, my mind is full of orders, emails, systems …

Every day, the proprietress finds some trivial things to clean up people, such as the garbage has been emptied without bags, a clip pin has been misplaced ... Once she said that I can't put things on the windowsill, but those things are not mine. Then I received an email saying that I shouldn't just sit in my own world and watch the sky. Many things have been said many times. If I can't remember them again, the year-end award will be melatonin. I didn't talk all day that day …

It is normal to be wronged and scolded at work, and it is the same everywhere. But there are also many good aspects. The boss often sends us food, apples, chocolates and so on, and sometimes invites us to dinner. There will also be gifts during the Chinese New Year holidays, and the company will have a good performance and will also travel.

The internship period of nearly one year is coming to an end. Looking back on this year's life, one has to deal with new interpersonal relationships while living in a new environment. This is a very hard thing, coupled with busy work and tense pace of life, this month can really be described as hard. Fortunately, I survived all this. On the contrary, these difficulties made me know myself better, and I got a deep understanding from them. Internship, as its name implies, is learning while doing. After a period of study, or when the study is drawing to a close, we need to know how the knowledge we have learned needs or should be applied to practice, because any knowledge comes from practice and belongs to practice, so we should apply what we have learned to practice to test our study. However, we certainly don't want the internship to stop here, it's too narrow.
