The purpose of comparative study of Chinese and Thai quantifiers
The purpose of the comparative study of Chinese and Thai quantifiers is as follows:

First of all, a brief introduction.

1. A comparative study of Chinese and Thai quantifiers will help us understand the grammatical features, cultural differences and thinking patterns of the two languages. In addition, with the deepening of globalization and the increasing cross-cultural communication, the comparative study between languages becomes more and more important.

2. Through the comparative analysis of Chinese and Thai quantifiers, we can better understand the similarities and differences between the two languages, provide strong support for cross-cultural communication, and promote cultural integration and the development of human civilization.

Second, individual quantifiers.

1, individual quantifier is one of the grammatical features of Chinese, and it is the grammatical content that second language learners should focus on. As a Sino-Tibetan language family, Thai, like Chinese, is one of the few languages in the world with individual quantifiers. Based on this, this paper aims to make a comprehensive comparative study of individual quantifiers in Chinese and Thai to find out their similarities and differences.

2. At the same time, improve Thai students' understanding of Chinese individual quantifiers, give guidance, and improve their ability to use individual quantifiers in real life. In this paper, Chinese individual quantifiers and Thai individual quantifiers are taken as the research objects, and examples are compared from the aspects of collocation with nouns, overlapping of individual quantifiers and syntactic format of individual quantifiers.

3. This study is divided into four parts. The first part is the introduction, which generally introduces the research background, significance and purpose of this paper, and reviews and summarizes the research status of Chinese and Thai quantifiers. On the basis of predecessors' research, the research object and research method are selected. The second part is the study of Chinese individual quantifiers, which mainly investigates the collocation, overlap and syntactic format of Chinese individual quantifiers and nouns.

4. The third part is the study of Thai individual quantifiers and their collocation, reduplication and syntactic format. The fourth part is a summary of the similarities and differences between Chinese and Thai individual quantifiers.

Third, quantifiers

Quantifier is a mathematical and scientific term, which is usually used to represent the quantitative unit of people, things or actions, and is called quantifier. Such as head, horse, bar, etc. Words or morphemes used with nouns to indicate countable or measurable objects or numerals are often used to indicate a certain category, and the objects attached to nouns can be classified into this category according to their shapes or functions (such as "Ben" in Chinese "Three Books").
