Mo Xiumei, born in February, 196 1. Professor and doctoral supervisor of biomaterials and tissue engineering. Before returning to China, Professor Mo Xiumei was a postdoctoral fellow at Kyoto University in Japan, a researcher at National University of Singapore, a visiting researcher at Japan Institute of Industrial Technology, and a visiting professor at Aachen University of Industrial Technology Application in Germany. At present, he is the head of the research group of "biomaterials and tissue engineering" in the biomedical engineering discipline of Donghua University. He is a member of Singapore Materials Association, a member of Biomaterials Branch of China Biomedical Engineering Society, and a member of the editorial board of FrontiersofMaterialsScience magazine.

3. Silk fibroin -P(LLA-CL) composite nanofiber catheter was prepared and successfully used for sciatic nerve repair in rats.
4. Collagen-chitosan -P(LLA-CL) composite nanofiber tubular scaffold was prepared and successfully used to repair the femoral artery defect in dogs.
5. Published more than 200 articles and conference papers, applied for more than 20 patents and granted 7 patents.
