At present, automation technology has been applied to industrial fields in China, including electrical engineering. The development of electrical engineering and its automation has brought great influence to people's daily life and industrial development. However, China's electrical engineering and its automation technology still face many problems, which need to be solved as soon as possible to avoid negative impact on the use efficiency of electrical equipment. This paper first introduces the research background and purpose, then introduces the application of electrical engineering and its automation in power grid dispatching and substation, lists the problems existing in energy saving, integration and quality, and finally puts forward corresponding solutions to specific problems.

1, Introduction

With the continuous innovation of science and technology, automation technology is more and more widely used in electrical engineering projects. Electrical engineering and automation technology began to be applied in agriculture and industry and other fields. As a new technical means, its application value is constantly improving, and it has begun to penetrate into all aspects of people's lives. Compared with foreign countries, China's electrical engineering and automation technology started late, and there is a considerable gap in both technical level and application effect.

Electrical engineering and its automation technology is a new technology that integrates automation technology, computer technology, mechatronics technology and so on. It first appeared in the 1970s, but it didn't develop well at that time due to the lack of funds and technology. After 1990s, this technology has developed rapidly, but there are still many problems. It is of great significance for China's economic development to strengthen the research on current electrical engineering and its automation technology, find problems and carry out targeted rectification, and constantly promote the development of electrical engineering and its automation [1]. Compared with foreign countries, China's electrical engineering and automation technology started late, so the integration is not high. The development level of integration technology is not high, which easily leads to obstacles in the process of information sharing, communication and transmission. There is no effective connection between different systems, which makes the function of equipment imperfect and greatly hinders the application of automation technology in electrical engineering projects. At present, there is no unified standard for electrical automation system in China. For different enterprises, the architecture of electrical system is different, even for different industries, the architecture of the system is also very different. In order to improve the integration of electrical system, we must first increase the investment of funds and corresponding R&D personnel. Encourage R&D personnel to actively participate in the construction of electrical system integration. Secondly, learn from foreign advanced technology, cooperate with foreign related enterprises, learn from their experience in integration construction and take its essence. Finally, according to the current level of integration construction in China, a set of practical unified standards is formulated.

4.3, strengthen quality control

In electrical engineering and its automation construction, the most important thing is to pay attention to solving quality problems. First of all, it is necessary to improve the professional and technical level of operators and constructors, conduct skills training courses on a regular basis, hold corresponding skills examinations, and issue skills certificates to those who pass the examinations. Only those who have obtained skills certificates are qualified to operate electrical equipment, which can ensure the smooth progress of electrical construction. 5. Conclusion

With the continuous improvement of China's scientific and technological level, electrical engineering and its automation technology have been widely used in various fields in China and played an important role in promoting industrialization. Major universities in China have set up electrical engineering and automation majors in order to train relevant technical personnel and better serve the field of electrical engineering in China. Although China's electrical engineering and automation technology started late compared with foreign countries, there are many loopholes.
