Over the years, Professor Zhan Dui has carried out a lot of medical, scientific research and teaching work in Tibetan medicine, focusing on the collation and research of Tibetan medicine literature, the development of new Tibetan medicine and the clinical treatment of difficult diseases. 1999 Up to now, he has been undertaking the duties of postgraduate tutor of Tibet Tibetan Medical College; In 2005, he served as a doctoral supervisor of Tibetan medicine jointly trained by Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and Tibet College of Tibetan Medicine.

In August, 2000, he published and exchanged the paper "Clinical Study of Tibetan Medicine in Treating Children's Henoch-Schonlein Purpura" at the International Symposium of Tibetan Medicine. Since 200 1, monographs such as Chinese Herbal Tibetan Medicine Volume (Shanghai Science Press, 2002) and Tibetan Medicine (people in Xizang Press, 2003) have been edited and published successively, among which Chinese Herbal Tibetan Medicine Volume won the second prize of scientific and technological academic works of Chinese Medical Association in 2004.

Up to now, he has been in charge of the state administration of traditional chinese medicine project-"Catalogue of Tibetan Medicine in Chinese and English" (200 1-2004, with a project fund of 60,000 yuan) and the state administration of traditional chinese medicine project-"Clinical Study of Qiwei Tiexie Pill in Treating Liver Cirrhosis" (200 1-2004, with a project fund of 80,000 yuan).
