The exchange rate issue is closely related to the national economy. The fluctuation of exchange rate will have a great impact on foreign trade. Since the reform and opening up, China's economy has developed rapidly, its economic strength has been increasing day by day, and its foreign trade has developed rapidly, accumulating a large amount of foreign exchange reserves. On the other hand, there is pressure for RMB appreciation in the international market.

The trend of RMB appreciation has been set. In this context, China faces more challenges in foreign trade, and some export-oriented enterprises can't even maintain the status quo due to shrinking profits. In this case, the government should take effective measures to ensure export access from the macro level, and enterprises should advocate innovation and cooperation. By analyzing the background and reasons of RMB appreciation, this paper focuses on the various influences and countermeasures of RMB appreciation on foreign trade. The research results will provide reference for solving this problem and developing foreign trade.
