How to label references in papers
This paper mainly uses footnotes (or endnotes) and quotations to mark references.

Footnotes (or endnotes) are a way to put reference information at the bottom of a page or at the end of text in the form of comments. This annotation method is usually found in humanities, such as history and philosophy. When quoting references, use superscript numbers or symbols at the quotation place, and list detailed reference information, such as the author, at the bottom of the page or at the end of the article.

Citation in this paper (also known as author-date system) is a method to mark reference information directly in the text. This notation is common in natural science and social science, such as biology, psychology, sociology and so on. When citing references, indicate the author's surname and publication year in the citation. List references at the end of the paper.

Various academic fields and publishing institutions have different reference standards, such as APA format, MLA format, Chicago format and so on. When writing a paper, you need to choose a suitable reference standard according to your own field or publishing requirements, and strictly follow its provisions to mark the documents.

Matters needing attention in the process of thesis writing:

1. Paper writing should have clear structure and logic. A paper usually includes introduction, literature review, research methods, results, discussion and conclusion. The introduction should briefly explain the background, research problems and purpose. Literature review should summarize the existing research and provide a theoretical basis for the research. The research method part describes the experimental design, data collection and analysis methods in detail.

2. Thesis writing needs rigorous research and demonstration. First of all, when choosing research questions, we should ensure that the questions have academic value and practical significance. Secondly, literature review should extensively collect relevant research and objectively analyze existing viewpoints and evidence. In the part of research methods, appropriate experimental design, samples, measuring tools, etc. The selection should be clear, and the reliability and validity of data should be ensured.

3. Thesis writing should strictly follow academic norms, such as accurately quoting references and avoiding plagiarism. Correctly citing references is not only a respect for the achievements of others, but also a manifestation of the rigor of research. At the same time, follow the prescribed reference format to ensure the consistency of the paper format.
