Honesty and moral education of contemporary college students is an important part of ideological and political education in colleges and universities. Strengthening the honesty and moral education of contemporary college students is the objective need of the healthy development of socialist market economy, the need of implementing the Outline of Citizen's Moral Construction and improving the moral quality of the whole nation, and the urgent need of the development of the information age. The author tries to explain the ways and methods of honesty and moral education for contemporary college students from five aspects: the leading role of ideological and political education theory courses, the demonstration and guidance role of ideological and political educators, the combination of honesty and moral education with college students' management, the test of honesty and moral education for college students in social practice and the related activities of honesty and moral education.

First, the teaching materials of ideological and political theory courses should be close to reality, life and college students. The course of ideological and political theory provides a rich theoretical basis for college students to carry out honesty education. The dialectical materialist epistemology and the view of truth in An Introduction to the Basic Principles of Marxism provide a philosophical theoretical basis for honesty and morality. From the perspective of honesty education, the ideological line of seeking truth from facts in An Introduction to the Theoretical System of Mao Zedong Thought and Socialism with Chinese characteristics is honesty and trustworthiness. The essence of the legal content in Ideological and Moral Cultivation and Legal Basis is to make students understand that honesty and trustworthiness are the basic requirements of socialist legal system construction.
Second,? Two classes? Teachers should explore diversified teaching modes and improve them effectively? Two classes? Teaching quality and teaching effect.
