Undergraduate finance major, where can I go abroad for postgraduate study?
Some students majoring in finance turned to me for help. They were confused about the choice of going to Canada for a master's degree in the future. First, I want to continue my major in finance, and second, I want to avoid the work experience requirements of the usual MBA program. At his request, I summarized several universities with master's degrees in finance in Canada. As follows:

University of Toronto

Master of Financial Economics Program (MFE)

Master of Financial Economics

Project introduction

This master's program is a non-thesis project. The total duration of the course is 16 months, which is divided into three semesters, including four months of summer internship. The Master of Financial Economics program is jointly organized by the School of Economics of the University of Toronto and rotman School of Management. Graduates of this program will receive a master's degree in financial economics. The project starts in August every year.

The purpose of this project is to cultivate students' skills and ability to achieve successful performance in the financial field, so that students can have a broader and deeper understanding of financial theory and economic framework. Students can acquire the necessary knowledge and skills from classroom learning and master stronger skills from internship opportunities in financial companies.

The program was originally designed for students who just graduated from economics, but students who have obtained four-year bachelor of arts, bachelor of science, bachelor of business or master of arts degrees are also welcome. These students need to complete the required courses of economics, mathematics and statistics. Students in this program need to complete classroom study and summer internship, usually in the fields of banking, investment banking, financial analysis, corporate finance and private investment banking.

Summary: The above summary is that several famous universities in Canada, business schools or schools of economics all have master's programs in finance. As you can see, most formal projects still require work experience to some extent. Another * * * is the requirement for GMAT scores. This shows that students studying for a master's degree in finance have to pay a lot more in the application process than students majoring in general, but what attracts them is the high return after graduation.

Suggestion: Although many masters of finance require work experience like MBA programs, it does not mean that fresh graduates cannot apply. Especially for international projects, the requirements for work experience will be relatively low. On this basis, students need to make other aspects of their application materials the most beautiful, such as a very high GMAT score, a very wonderful document and several powerful letters of recommendation, which will help them apply.

The above is my own summary, refusing to transfer ~
