Today, the topic of my speech is "Taste books and keep company with them". Students, if I ask you "What is the taste of books?" What would you say? You may think: how can a book have a taste? If it has a taste, it is also bitter, because learning the sea is endless. But the children of a nation in the world believe that books are sweet. In every Jewish family, when the child is a little sensible, the mother will open the Bible, drop a little honey, and then let the child kiss the honey in the Bible. In this way, children will know that books are sweet. Because Jews like reading since childhood, outstanding figures such as Freud, Einstein and Madame Curie have emerged. The Jewish nation is recognized as the nation with the highest IQ in the world. As we know, April 23rd is a special day, which is "World Reading Day". Books are the ladder of human progress. Helen Keller once said, "A book is like a ship, which leads us from a narrow place to an infinite ocean of life." In order to respond to the call of "World Reading Day", let students understand the importance of reading and read more and better books, the following initiatives are launched to all students: 1. Love reading and study hard! Take reading as your pursuit goal, enrich knowledge, cultivate sentiment and promote all-round development. From the beginning of loving books, cultivate the interest in reading and form a good habit of loving books and reading. Take a little time every day, enrich your soul with books, wash your soul with books, and let the books overflow the campus. Second, read good books and be good at reading! We should study selectively, make friends with good books and walk with knowledge. Appreciate life and feel life in reading good books; Cultivate sentiment and enhance personality in reading good books; By reading good books, improve your taste and broaden your horizons; To read a good book, you should be sensible and wise, and grow into a talent. The ancients said: Read thousands of books and take Wan Li Road. We advocate spreading classics, sharing wisdom, carrying out extensive reading exchange activities, making friends, helping each other learn and making progress together. Record some mood notes every day, recite several classic poems every week, and read several classic works every month to combine reading with thinking, writing and real life. Third, enjoy reading and be a lifelong companion. Confucius said: the knower is not as good as the knower, and the good is not as good as the enjoyment. Reading is a kind of enjoyment and happiness.
