Guo Kexin, a famous physical metallurgist and crystallographer, party member, producer of China, academician of China Academy of Sciences, foreign engineering academician of Royal Swedish Academy, and researcher of Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

At the beginning of the founding of New China, although Mr. Guo Kexin was in a foreign country, he always cared about the socialist construction of New China. 1956, in response to the party's call of "marching into science", he resolutely returned to China to participate in socialist construction and worked in the Institute of Metals, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and served as a researcher and deputy director. 1April, 1980 served as the vice president of Shenyang Branch of China Academy of Sciences. 1980 September Chairman of Liaoning Science and Technology Association. 1980 was elected as an academician of China Academy of Sciences. 1982 president of Shenyang branch of China academy of sciences. 1985- 1993 was appointed as the director of Beijing Electron Microscope Open Laboratory of China Academy of Sciences. 1993-2006 Researcher, Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
