The ninth Chinese Unit 1 exercise is about a scene on campus.
So, I asked the students to write about the scenery on campus, and the students all said that our campus was too ordinary and there was nothing to write about.
Students are active on campus every day, but they turn a blind eye to the scenery on campus. It seems that all the scenery on campus is too ordinary for them. It is really an old saying that "there is no scenery in a familiar place".
So, I took them around the campus and asked them to observe and think: What are the characteristics of the scenery on campus? Is there anything worth writing about? How to write them down?
Let's go to the east of the campus first. There is a flag-raising platform there. There is a portrait of Lei Feng on the back wall of the flag-raising platform. On both sides of the portrait, there is a map of China and a map of the world. There are flower beds on both sides of the flag stand, and there are publicity columns. I instruct students how to introduce these scenery in detail.
Afterwards, we came to the school gate. The green belts on both sides of the school gate were just planted on the lawn this summer vacation. A student asked, "teacher, I want to write about this lawn." How come? "
How to write this lawn? I really didn't think about it. I threw this question to my classmates and asked them to talk about how to write this lawn.
A student thought for a moment and said, "The campus of our primary school in Xing Shan is beautiful! As soon as you step into the school gate, you will see two lawns on each side of the passage at the school gate. These two lawns are rectangular, about 6 meters long and 4 meters wide, with turf planted on them. Pieces of turf are half a foot square and arranged in the shape of a field, which looks neat and beautiful. "
I invited several students to speak, and I can only make a similar superficial expression.
I told them that observing things should not only stay on the surface, but also do deep thinking.
How did this lawn come from? At present, the school funds are quite tight, and it is still impossible to maintain the normal office operation expenses of the school. The money for these lawns comes from donations from some people of insight who are enthusiastic about education in the village. The students suddenly realized that the lawn was hard to come by. A student said, "We must protect these lawns!" Another student said, "Many students are still trampling on the lawn. I want to give advice to the Young Pioneers Brigade of the school so that everyone can protect the lawn! " " ……
Also, what changes do you think have taken place in the lawn now compared with before? "It turns out that this place is bare loess, overgrown with weeds, washed away by rain, and looks like a pockmarked face, ugly as hell. Now, the lawn has become neat, bright, exquisite and full of vitality. " "These two lawns make our campus young!" "These two lawns are icing on the cake." "The whole two lawns are the eyes of the campus, looking forward to being bright and making the campus have aura." ..... The students began to talk in a few words.
Also, what are the characteristics of the grass on this lawn? What's the difference compared with other grasses?
...... After some observation, some thinking, some comparison, some feeling, there was nothing to write on the lawn, and now the students' ideas are opened, just like the flowing water from the source, it will naturally flow out.
Finally, I told my classmates that the world is not short of beauty, what we lack is discovery. As long as we pay more attention to life, observe more, think more and understand more, and "emotion is in the middle, form is in words", we will naturally think quickly, and the article will naturally follow.
Through the guidance of this exercise, I deeply feel that some students are afraid of writing and feel that there is nothing to write. The main reason is that these students lack keen observation and deep feelings about life. A colorful life is like passing clouds, like the spring wind wrinkling the pool water, but it leaves no trace afterwards. In this way, students don't know how to capture, and without rich life accumulation, composition will naturally become "cooking without rice" for them. No wonder they are afraid of writing.
Therefore, I think it is necessary to strengthen the cultivation of students' ability to observe life and feel life, so that they can develop good habits of observation, thinking, understanding and writing.
In order to train students' observation and sensibility, I have tested students above grade four more than once: "What is on the top of the kindergarten gate of our school?"
We pass the kindergarten gate several times a day, but what is on the top of the kindergarten gate doesn't attract our attention. I said there was a Casuarina, and many students said they didn't know there was such a Casuarina. I took them to see it and asked them, "What do you think after seeing this Casuarina tree?" "What is there to consider? Just a little Casuarina! " Some students will say, "It has great vitality." I asked again, "Why do you say it has strong vitality?" They can't say why.
So, I led them and said that this Casuarina has been growing for many years as far as I know. Compared with Casuarina equisetifolia on the hillside and by the stream, where can we see its tenacity? If this Casuarina thinks like us, what will it think when it sees Casuarina on the slope by the stream? What do you think this Casuarina tree has to do with your own life? What inspiration did you get from this Casuarina tree?
From a humble Casuarina equisetifolia, through my gradual guidance, students have changed from caring to caring, from thinking to thinking, from ruthlessness to moving, so that they can understand that life is full of knowledge and pay attention to learning Chinese everywhere.
This is just one example of my training students to observe and feel life. More importantly, this kind of training should run through daily training. Therefore, I ask students to develop the habit of keeping a diary. For some important activities and accidents, will I remind students to keep a diary the next day? Or let the students talk about what they wrote in their diaries? Strengthen students' ability to capture and grasp life and cultivate students with a bright and sensitive heart.
In addition, on the basis of training students to observe life carefully, we should also train them to spread the wings of association and imagination in the process of observation, imagine freely in the observation of things, give things emotion and personality, and write their own words.
When teaching Sunrise at Sea, I said, "The sun, like a heavy burden, rises slowly, vertically and vigorously." I told the students that this sentence belongs to Ba Jin, because only Ba can say it. Even if this sentence comes out of your mouth now, no one will say it's yours, because anyone who has read Sunrise at Sea will say it's Ba Jin's. Why is this? Because this sentence endowed Ba Jin with emotion and characteristics. Before you see this sentence, you can say a similar sentence, but you can't say this sentence because you are not Ba Jin. If Ba Jin's sentence is expressed as "the sun rises", it is inherent in the sun itself and has no personal color. You said this sentence, who said it and who believed it? Because anyone can say this sentence. Therefore, when speaking and writing, you should say your own words and express your true feelings. Only when the object, environment and mood are in harmony can it be true and credible. One day, my students and I observed flowers in the flower beds on campus. Talk to the students about how to express their feelings by borrowing flowers. Happy people are also elated when they look at flowers, showing a happy smile; Looking at the flowers sadly also makes them burst into tears; Desperate people look at flowers coldly, even cynically; Peaceful people look at flowers in different forms and are beautiful; Dreamers regard flowers as a gift from nature. Same flowers, different moods, different flowers. This is what people call "the environment is born of the mind"-a person's situation is subjective and will have different feelings with the change of his mood. Therefore, we can express our feelings through things, or integrate scenes, or convince people by reasoning, or convey feelings through things. For example, to express a person's happy mood, in addition to the movements, expressions and language of people's activities, you can also express the feelings of the characters with the help of flowers on the roadside and birds on the trees.
"Chinese Curriculum Standard for Full-time Compulsory Education" points out: "Writing teaching should be close to students' reality, make students easy to write and be willing to express, guide students to pay attention to reality, love life and express their true feelings. "After this exercise, I have a deeper understanding of this sentence. In my opinion, guiding students to practice should first focus on how to pay attention to life and how to express themselves.
