1954, graduated from Sichuan Medical College (predecessor of West China Medical University, now merged into Sichuan University), and has been teaching there ever since.

1983 was promoted to associate professor and tutor for master students.

1986, promoted to professor.

1990, as a doctoral supervisor.

He has served as director of obstetrics and gynecology at West China University of Medical Sciences and vice president of the former medical college.

He has been engaged in clinical medical treatment, teaching and scientific research in obstetrics and gynecology for a long time. I visited Harvard Medical School in the United States and had exchanges with Yale University, South Carolina Medical University and Tokyo Medical University in Japan.

Wang is one of the founders of practical obstetrics and gynecology. He used to be the director of Sichuan Medical Association and the chairman of Sichuan Obstetrics and Gynecology Society. 1992 received special government allowance from the State Council.
