On June 24th, 2007, when the whole country took practical actions to welcome the Green Olympics, and when the red-billed gulls gathered in Spring City for the 23rd time, it was hosted by Kunming Association for Science and Technology, Municipal Tourism Bureau and Municipal Forestry Bureau, and hosted by Kunming Bird Association, with the help of School of Life Sciences of Yunnan University and School of Conservation Biology of Southwest Forestry College. With the theme of "Welcome the Green Olympics and Promote the Gull Economy", it was 150 from both inside and outside Yunnan Province. This forum is the second after the 2006 Kunming International Forum on Harmony between People and Birds in China. This book contains classic papers from this forum.
On the morning of April 1 1, Hangzhou Wildlife Conservation Association and Tonglu County Forestry Bureau jointly launched the 2009 Wildlife Conservation Publicity Month and Bird Love Week in Tonglu. Nearly 200 people from all walks of life attended the launching ceremony. The launching ceremony was presided over by Zhou Huaxin, deputy director of Tonglu Forestry Bureau. Hangzhou Wildlife Conservation Association and Tonglu Forestry Bureau will take the opportunity of wildlife conservation month and "Bird-loving Week" publicity activities to carry out various forms of ecological and cultural publicity activities in combination with "advocating green life and building ecological civilization".
