What kind of cultural influence does the Silk Road have?
The opening of the Silk Road promoted the economic and cultural exchanges between the East and the West and played a positive role in promoting the prosperity of the Han Dynasty. It had a far-reaching impact on the development of ethnic relations and the exchange of Chinese and western cultures, and the Silk Road became an important channel for Chinese and foreign exchanges at that time and later.

China's silk products, sinking and other technologies spread to the west. Western countries import crops such as wool products, flax, carrots and green onions, and flowers such as narcissus and jasmine to China. There are Buddhism, magic, music, dance and so on. It has had a far-reaching impact on China's economy and culture. Moreover, the opening of the Silk Road has slightly changed the impression of western countries on China.

In the pre-Qin period, the channel connecting East and West in China already existed. The formal spread of silk to the west began in the Western Han Dynasty, and the real formation of the Silk Road began when Zhang Qian was hollowed out in the Western Han Dynasty.

During this period, the source, destination and route of silk spread were very clear, well documented and recorded in history, and the spread volume was also very large. The silk trade between East and West was planned and even organized, so the Silk Road was really opened in the period of Emperor Wu of the Western Han Dynasty.

In the 16th year of Yongping (73), Ban Chao followed the general Dou Gu to crusade against the Northern Xiongnu and was ordered to go to the Western Regions. He led 36 officials to Shanshan first, and touched Shanshan with the determination of "nothing ventured, nothing gained".

Later, he persuaded Yu Kan to join the central government. Ban Chao reopened the Silk Road, which had been isolated for 58 years, and helped the countries in the western regions get rid of the control of the Huns. It was appointed as a protectorate of the western regions by the Eastern Han Dynasty. Ban Chao has been operating in the western regions for 30 years, which has strengthened the ties between the western regions and the mainland.
